This place is amazing! The vibe is so nice. The staff is friendly. There's also a guy in there that looks almost like Justin Timberlake and he will bust a move for you! The owner Shandy is SUPER inviting and pleasant. She came over to talk to us and made recommendations about the roasted chicken (that we'll try next time). The pesto pasta with chicken added is amazingly Dee-licious. I'm from Nola so I love to eat good food. I'd say go to Shandy's you won't be sorry!!!
What a change from Shandy’s location on Memorial that is much loved. Love this bright open space. Shandy has done a beautiful job creating a nice environment in which to dine and drink (thanks to the full bar w/plenty of seating). My friend and I had lunch. She had a delicious salad and I had the soup, sandwich, salad combo. I had the chicken vegetable soup, to which I had to add a lot of pepper and salt for the flavor I was hoping for. Unfortunately the chicken in the soup was tough and stringy. I had been hoping for actual chunks for both white and dark meat rather than shredded/pulled chicken. The chicken salad sandwich (half) was flavorful and the salad was fresh. Definitely want to go again and try other items on the diverse menu. Wishing Shandy much success with the new location!

I visited Shandy's on Monday. The customer service was great, the Food was so Fresh and I will be back. I had the Avocado Shrimp. The Shrimp was jumbo and good.

To begin with, this place is a whole vibe. The proprietor of this establishment is a black woman and I’m here for it! She was nice and engaging. We went for drinks and had the Texas Star Tea and Bayou Fizz. The ambiance was amazing. Once you go to the bathroom you may not want to leave. It’s top level decor. The music was mellow and not overpowering. I really want to try them for the food next. The servers were great and attentive.
The food here is impeccable! I reside in the heights and usually come in to dine here with my family, and it never disappoints! I recommend the salmon or pork chops! As for drinks, the old-fashioned and their signature drink “spicy shandy,” I will be coming back soon. Excellent service and food every time! Thank you!!!!!
Consistently my husband and I come here and have great food and great service. We’ve been coming to this gem for a while now and we have yet to be disappointed. Check them out!
$13 for this tiny sandwich .. a two dollar charge for fruit & $1.50 charge for to go orders .. almost $17 dollars for this … on a positive note the place is nicely decorated. Definitely over priced in my opinion. Sandwich was good but probably won’t eat there again.
We ordered shrimp fettuccini, guacamole & chips and salmon. Everything was excellent and so was customer service.
