I love coming to this place I have never experienced a problem with the food quality The best thing on the menu is General Tso with extra onion rings I have been eating at this restaurant since I was kid back when it was located inside of Northwest Mall
The owner, Moon, is such a sweet man. He invites you in and treats you immediately like family. He brings us watermelon to eat while our food is being cookd. He tells us to get a soda, so we just get water so we can have something to drink. My wife remembers him from being inside northwest mall then opening this place after it closed. The food is really good and not crazy expensive. He always includes freshly made onion rings with order for free.i wish we could do more for him to show our appreciation.
I ordered beef and broccoli along with some fried mushrooms. The beef tasted like it was cooked last week and the food was super salty. The mushrooms were okay, but the batter was again super salty.I won’t be going back.

When my aunt originally bought it, I fell in love with it right away. The version with spicy chicken is the best. I may need that recipe for whatever sauce it is since it is so addicting and nostalgic for me because I haven't had it in a long time. The spicy chicken with fried rice comes highly recommended. It's the most delicious combination. 100/100 Would recommend it to a loved one or a friend.
Most of the reviews mention Northwest Mall. I used to eat at that location every week, then our office moved further away, and later the mall closed. The other day I was thinking of my favorite comfort foods and I remembered Sesame Hut, and discovered the new location. I went for lunch today (the new location is only 10 minutes from my current office -- wish I'd have known several years ago).Anyway, it has exactly the same menu as before and the dish I had today, the Hot and Spicy Chicken, tastes exactly the same as it did before. It left me feeling pretty happy. I love the other dishes as well, and plan to return every couple of weeks.I asked the owner about the woman who ran it at the mall, and he said she was his wife, but that she had passed away several years earlier.Anyway, great portions, reasonable price, and delicious food. I know it's "mall food court" food, but I love it.
Sesame Hut is awesome! A one of a kind gem. Family owned and operated. Everyone is so kind and they really take care of each and every customer. The food is amazing! Prices are great! Good sized portions! Clean dining! I've tried everything on the menu and it's all delicious!! Please go eat here!!
Great service and good prices, and large portions. The food was delicious. I had the bulgogi and lo mein with an egg roll. Also tried the hot and spicy chicken with fried rice. And you must try the onion rings.
I adore this place! The food is so good and so plenty for a good price. The owner is such a humble kind man. He makes sure everything is ok and your food turned out good!
