Attended KHCB's 60 anniversary celebration. Spacious, immaculate facility with technology to project stage onto big screens so there is not a bad seat in the house. Wonderful celebration of God's hand in ministry.
I love this church. I came here for KHCB 60th anniversary. Super spacious auditorium, sound is perfect, adequate parking. Beautiful church.
The eleven11 service was great experience after being in another state where church or any assembly is frowned on. I will be going back for more better spiritual experience and journey.
We went to the kids play area a couple times and it is really nice. All of the facilities are really nice and clean. The folks that work there are really friendly as well. They clean the play area every hour as well!

Visited this past Sunday. Everything felt like a production. The music at the beginning with the lights and cameras and fog machines was a lot to take in, although I will say everyone on stage is incredibly talented and the lyrics were on point. During the sermon, the pastor only read from the Bible ONCE. The rest of the time, scripture was only referenced and the Bible was closed and held up like a prop. The invitation came but instead of calling the congregation to reflect on the sermon and have a conversation with God, he encouraged the people to come to the front to join the community. Joining a church is great but what about growing in Christ? It felt very businesslike. Faith and Christianity is about growing a true relationship with Christ - it’s not a business transaction.
Beautiful church and very nice and friendly staff and people. Very clean and maintained church and lots of amazing ministries and amazing serve opportunities and amazing Bible study classes and the fellowship hall is an amazing place to gather together and fellowship with each other and eat good food with your friends. Second Baptist Church is just such a great church to bring your family to and to enjoy worship service and Bible study and it’s a great place of community and to get to know each other better.
I went to second Baptist on a field trip however I know an entrepreneur who owns a restaurant and she is a member there she told me really good things about the church and she said they had an awesome bookstore and many classes and many things to help you grow in your Christian walk.So when I visited about a week ago.I went in to check out the bookstore and I looked around to.All the people were nice and very helpful it was a really big church.the bookstore really didn't have much that I was interested in though. I wanted a bible but the one I was in search of they didn't have it.However, they did have a Starbucks inside which made me very happy.I got a frappe of course it was a little cheaper than actually going to Starbucks to which made me happy even more.
Whoa!! What a place!!stumbled upon the beautiful worship center at the center of memorial park & had to stop & look around. It’s magnificent, huge + the workshop center is an arena - what looks like a massive performance theater.
Love this church always have something to do for everyone in the family.
