The sushi was really good here! Great service!
Very friendly staff, great happy hour roll specials. Highly recommend stopping by for food before hitting up some of the local bars and clubs.
6/10/22: fresh, excellent staff and very comfortable environment. Ate at the bar and everything was quality.
Overall, the sushi here is excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty, with very generous portion sizes (not something you get at all sushi restaurants). For an appetizer I got the steamed shumai, which is one of my favorites that I try to get everywhere, and this was literally the best shumai I have ever had in over 100 sushi restaurants. It was awesome. One negative note is that the sea bass is terrible. I decided to try it for the first time, which was a mistake. The fish itself is very firm (unlike a great piece of salmon which just melts in your mouth), and they put something on it that had a very strong garlic taste that just ruined the flavor of the fish. I would warn people away from that item, but otherwise I highly recommend this restaurant.
It’s a nice place with good environment. We had volcano roll (1st photo), soba noodles ( 1st photo), spring roll ( vegetarian) (2nd photo) and shrimp and vegetable tempura fry (3rd photo). Volcano roll, soba noodles and spring roll was very nice but we didn’t like tempua fry, since it didn’t have any flavour and it had very less salt. However, volcano rolls were full of flavours and it looks good also, as you can see in the photo. Soba noodles are good option, especially for vegetation people.
Wonderful service!! Our server was very attentive and the food came out fast. This is my favorite sushi spot in Houston so far!! I loved the Pink Lady roll and the Scorpion roll
The bento box is more than enough food to create two meals. You get chicken or steak teriyaki, vegetable tempura, egg roll, crab rangoon, miso soup, and a crab roll. They also have a lunch deal where you can pick two rolls from a list they provide. It’s really convenient. The food is always fresh, service is always great, and takeout usually takes them about 15 minutes. They’re a quick and easy lunch if you work in this part of downtown.
Closest sushi spot to the east end, and it never disappoints. Always a table available and in general is usually kinda empty. Seems like they’re truly thriving on the to-go orders. Street parking only.
Great nigiri and fair price happy hour. Although it looks like a hole in the wall, it’s fresh fish is great! I would highly recommend giving this a try. It’s a great “before the show” dinner
Very friendly waitress and food very good
