Very nice diner with really quick service. I like the decor and it is a pretty big space.I had stopped by for a quick bite before catching a flight and had taken the mushroom cheese burger with sweet potato fries. I really liked the taste and portion size. My wife took the guacamole cheese burger with fries which was good as well. I tried a seasonal IPA which was okay. All in all I liked the service, portion size and taste. Would recommend for a quick bite.

Like can get a burger at 6 in the morning. Staff were very friendly and the service was fast. Burger was cooked well and like the shoestring fries. Waiter brought a new soda without be asked for a refill.

The below message of complaint was sent to The Rudy Diner in Houston and their Central Franchisor HQ. Non one even acknowledged our emails. "Dear Customer Service, Hi, my wife and I ate a Ruby's diner at IAH, Houston Airport, yesterday, Saturday 26th March, around 2 pm. We ordered a Rubys and a Texan burger, French fries and one Milkshake. We started feeling sickly within a couple of hours of eating and then both of us vomited heavily around 4 hours later. Neither ate anything else after our visit to Ruby's, before becoming very ill. High body temperature and more body sickly discomfort continued for a good few hours more. We then had serious diahorea for a further three days. Please log this report and customer complaint. Have other customers reported similar symptoms?"

Really good burgers and fries. Pretty good prices for airport. Great service. Didn’t upcharge. My girl wasn’t hungry so we just ordered one thing. They didn’t mind. Was nice experience.

During a layover I decided to kill some time and found this was the highest rated restaurant in the airport. I love the whole nostalgic vibe of a vintage diner so I decided to stop in. The servers are incredibly nice and accommodating. Definitely commend the customer service. I ordered a cheeseburger and while the size was perfect for me (about the size of a McDonald’s burger but with more meat) the flavor and seasoning left me disappointed. I needed to add ketchup and salt to make it go from “meh” to decent. The fries were nothing special, but the chocolate shake was awesome!! The fact that this is one of the highest rated restaurants in the airport and its nothing particularly special about it is a shameful reflection on the other eateries here.

We only had sandwiches for lunch but they were delicious and huge. The portions were large enough for lunch and dinner. Prices were fair for terminal eateries. The decor was vintage and interesting. The location is central to the different gates.

The food was excellent. Our waitress; Leslie M, she was so great. We ordered the cheeseburger dip and a bacon cheeseburger. She figured we we’d be splitting the entree and brought it out in two separate baskets with extra fries. Then offered extra chips for our dip. First time Ruby’s customers and it was well worth it. You can really tell that the team here is well organized. We were stufffffed after. 10/10

The hostess was incredibly friendly and sat me immediately. I had a breakfast sandwich and it was pretty decent (the bacon was perfect!) The coffee was not very good but the service was fast and excellent. Overall a decent place for a quick bite in the airport!

Fast service, good Bloody Marys and delicious burgers. Worth the stop between flights

Had some crispy chicken and an IPA beer. Chicken good, BBQ good, mustard sauce too thin so it.keeps dripping on everything. Garlic sauce not my thing with fried chicken. Only thing I didn't understand was the red, actually quite tasty, cabbage in the bottom.of the bag of chicken. You can hardly get it out that way.
