Worst customer service experience and worst food!I placed a DoorDash order consisting of 3 items.This store proceeded to make only 2 items and handed an incomplete order to the delivery driver without first calling me and letting me know that the 3rd item wasn’t available and make sure it was okay to send an incomplete order. I called the restaurant to get a refund for the 3rd item and had the worst experience EVER talking to them; even getting basic answers as to did DoorDash or the store cancelled the order. They wouldn’t even admit to cancelling it without issuing a refund (I ultimately called DoorDash and got a refund through them)The food I received in question, which was a fish and a Suya was OLD! The fish was dry; the Suya meat was super dry and burnt to the point that it was turning black. You could clearly see it wasn’t fresh food and had been made several days before and reheated several times. DISGUSTING!!I will NEVER order from this store again.
I was in the neighborhood and branched because their google site says they open at 11. 20 minutes later and I had to leave.
So I’ve been looking for a place that serves fufu for weeks/months since I’ve seen it on instagram…I’m so happy I’ve found this place! The food was full of flavor and the portions was great also the white bowl my soup came in made it look even better -for me at least lol. The young lady was very nice to me and was patient which I really appreciate (sometimes I feel like I ask “dumb” questions when I’m trying something new) the young lady suggested egusi soup and I’m so happy I went with her recommendation!!! This soup has great flavor a good amount of spice to be able to still enjoy the food. And the fufu!?!?! So silky and smooth and so easy to eat with your hands!!!! But more than anything I appreciate the young lady taking pride in her food because I was going to order another soup to have for tomorrow since the closed on Sunday lol and she told me that she suggests I come back so I can enjoy it fresh instead of warmed up in the microwave and that means the world to me.
Was refereed here by a friend after eating their finger licking suya. I went and bought some the following week and it sort of tasted different. I will definitely visit again. Maybe something was off on my initial visit
Extremely terrible customer service. I asked for a simple extra onions that I NEVER have issues with and the yellow midget man was rude and dismissive. Customer service training is very much needed on his end. Even talking to him on the phone is a terrible experience. Please stay in the back kitchen if you do not know how to handle customers. Just horrible horrible experience. And I come here often.
Typical poor customer service Nigerian joint. 1 man show restaurant! He was the cashier, order taker, waiter. He came out the back with greasy fingers smacking on something. We told him order is for here, after we sat down, he never checked on us again. Water bottle had a lipstick stain or maybe tomato paste, noticed it right when I was about to take a sip. Beef inside the stew was fried so hard and tough to chew. Plantain and rice was fresh and tasted great
I love their equsi soup. Spicy, flavorful and all. Removed a star because service was not great, hours were not updated on their Google page.
Do not expect fast service, this is not fast food. You wait for your food and when it comes, you will savor it & be thinking about it all week.
Great ambience and scenery.Exquisite customer service from the server.The suya is one of the best I’ve had in Houston Texas.I bet you will love it too.Overall, I think I will go there again with an empty stomach.
Best restaurant with good meal that comes with great taste combined. I'll definitely go back. Suya and grill fish per excellent ?
