I truly enjoyed this place and love the concept. The atmosphere was nice and easy. The staff is phenomenal. I had the Patatas Bravas and it was tasty; however, the menu left me wanting something more. I met a couple who are frequent visitors and they shared that the menu has definitely changed . . . I suggest they change the menu again. But if you're looking for something different, that's not stuffy and you can enjoy yourself, this is your place!
Love the concept here! It makes it super fun to try new wines. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable of everything they offer too!Only con - for the most part, they're only really selling high priced bottles. So - you're probably not going to find your favorite go-to wine for a normal night here.

Self service wine bar where you get a card and start sampling? Absolutely! My friends and I only had wine, no food. There’s a good variety of bottles, not a lot of high end reserve wines and the selection is a good price point for the wines available. This is a great way to try several different wines without committing to a full glass of something you may not like. If there’s a wine you fall in love with, bottles are available. I highly recommend this experience if you’re new to wines or trying to figure out what you like. Tables available inside and patio area outside.
Great ambiance, food was impeccable, service was friendly. I loved that I could try any wine at 1oz, 3oz or 5oz. Foie Gras PBJ dessert sounds weird but there were so many textures and flavor profiles. Loved it
I came here for a meetup group. The staff were fun and helpful, even bringing out a free champagne gun outside which was a blast for us ladies. The ordering process can be a bit overwhelming at first but then the self serve aspect is a really nice touch. It makes it low pressure! Love it!

My fiancée and I went for my birthday and we absolutely loved it! We really enjoyed the innovative aspect of self-serving in a wine bar, there was so much diversity to pick from! We had 4 different wines and we were impressed by each one of them. We also had some bites and they were delicious too. We'll definitely be coming back!
I really enjoyed the concept of this space. I visited during happy hour and while the menu felt limited, I highly recommend the Patatas Bravas. Additionally, the baby greens salad is great to add on the side if you're going to share (wouldn't recommend it as your only dish).The wine is self-serve on tap and I love that you can sample as many options as you like because you pay by the ounce. Kinda feels like an arcade because you're given a card to use to activate the pour. The staff was very professional and helpful. Someone was usually around at the wine taps to help, offer suggestions, and answer any questions.The ambience was pleasant with a variety of seating inside and outdoors- we even witnessed a proposal! Overall, Roots is a great option for a nice night out with friends or colleagues- I would definitely recommend this as a spot to bring your guests!
