Came in for Houston restaurant week. Great value! Would come back again for the burrata, chicken and mushroom ravioli and salmon !!!
Lovely restaurant with nice ambiance. Excellent service. Food was good, but not amazing, with exception of the gnocchi which was superb. We had the salmon & the veal for entrees. Both dishes were quite good.
Delicious food, fine service, and pleasant atmosphere. Roma delivers. We'll be back soon.
Amazing food and service!
Dined here with friends to celebrate a birthday. All 9 of us enjoyed our meals. The portions were very generous and the presentation of the food unique. The restaurant is very intimate and quaint. Another plus was we could actually hear each other and enjoy conversation without feeling like we were yelling. Staff was extremely efficient and helped with menu selections because so many great entrees to choose from. We will definitely return.
Always an amazing experience! Friendly service, great ambiance, excellent food, good wine!
We always enjoy dinner at Roma - the food is consistently excellent, as is the service. And they are great about suggesting wines to match what we're in the mood for.
What could have been a nice dinner was negatively impacted by the attitude of the owner or manager. One of my guests expressed that her spritzer had too much Aperol because it was too sweet. It was whisked away and dumped with gestures of negativity. This ruined our meal. Needless to say, we won't be coming back. Businesses need to learn that they are not immune from being serviceable to their clients. If you can't earn my business, then you don't deserve me coming back. My guests all felt the same way.
Shannon Scott and Chef Kevin Bryant continue to knock it out of the park! From the exceptionally attentive service to the delicious food from apps to desserts, we had an exceptional dinner experience at Roma. We started with the perfectly prepared classic summer-in-Rome refresher cocktail, the Aperol Spritz. The house salad was work of food art on the plate. Then, my entree arrived, charred octopus with roasted tomatoes and asparagus. Delicious! We finished our meal with an off-menu chocolate-zucchini cake with pistachio gelato that perfectly closed out our taste of Rome in Houston. Kudos to Shannon and Kevin!
My wife meal was great, my food was cold and never could get the attention of my waiter or the service manager that was on the floor. I do admit that they got slammed with tables coming in the door as soon as my food came to the table.
