I loved this place and would always make it a point to visit when I'm in the area but will not visit this place until changes are made. Went today and ordered a large mango gelato and was told "Due to supply and demand we only have small cups" and I was okay with this until he said "but we are charging the large price for the small cup due to this supply problem". Seriously, I understand the need to raise prices but this is downright robbery of your once loyal customers. Who do the customers get to price gouge due to their loses??? Maybe work yourself and raise the prices overall a little....not "I'm gonna charge you for a large but you can only have a small"... Sad as a small business that you don't value the customers you do have.
Unique place, had the Gelati with Passionfruit Guava Ice (I believe) with Vanilla Softserve. The softserve is way better than McDonalds, very nice. You get to sample and it was a tough call between blueberry and passionfruit guava. Highly recommend the blueberry next. A small patio out front, nothing spectacular, but definitely recommend if in the area.
Ice and Custard are delicious, the only disappointing thing was they could not honor a coupon I received thru email. First time here and i was very disappointed.
Ice cream was so good. But I'm sorry i get some places are still experiencing cash shortage, but still you need to understand that not every person in this world pays with card and because of that if there is another location then i will try there maybe for a better experience but if not then I'm ok with that. Cause when we asked bout the cash the girl inside seemed so pushing on card only she even said card only. Idk who you go to for change but both of my jobs have no longer had a cash shortage for about a month or more now and this place is? Or is this there way of discrimination and not have anyone pay in cash. Smh
Good neighborhood spot for soft serve (frozen custard) and snow cones. They also have ice cream sandwiches. Nice patio out front to enjoy your treats.
My wife is from Philly and loves Rita's. She is always raving about it. We drove from Spring just go to Rita's in the heights.The place was clean and we were well attended by a guy who just started, we forgot to get his name.Our gelatis were fabulous.We will return.
According to Rita's corporate office this place is to open at 12:00, we drove all the way to Houston (45 min) to find they did not open until 2pm. Very disappointed won't ever drive there again.
Great little out of the way spot! The frozen custard was the best I've had. EVER. The young lady working the counter was very pleasant and helpful and explained the menu and the different items available. We will definitely return! Debittcredit cards only. No cash.
Thanks for addressing my concern. How do we get an accurate schedule of when you guys open/close?
Decided to come to Rita's, checked on Google and they were open until 9pm so grabbed my things and head out. Got here to find a sign on the door saying they closed at 8pm today. The employee told me I need to check on Instagram. I need to check on Instagram before coming to your establishment to see if you are open? No thanks
