Fresh fried chicken at areasonable price. Goodmashed potatoes and gravy.Three wings and a roll for$2.99. The tenders are wayoverpriced and take a longtime to be ready. They arenot very crispy either. Thefried fish is really tasty. Cornmeal batter. French fries aregreat. The roasted chickenis also really good whenfresh. Haven't tried thegreens yet.
Worst brisket I've had in a while and could barely read there menu as it was had written on a white bored as if it's not a consistent menu. I got 5 pieces of meat but 1 piece of breed don't worry though if you want more it's only $1.39 each slice and I was expecting some great Texas tea because it was a bbq place , just to taste good old Lipton powdered tea :( , you definitely get a different vibe from the employees compared to other certain customers...yeah
For 50bucks for HTown plate n HTown bakepotato very disappointed. Ribs were old. Sausages were no taste. The brisket was bad tasted like liver or dry roast beef. Greenbeans tasted fishy I'm guessing the beans were old just sitting in a pot. Mac n cheese was ok. I was robbed of an extra side. I wanted to try the orka n Sausage. It was my fault for not checking my to go order before leaving. All n All I will never visit this place again. 1st impression are a key for return business.
Excellent customer service, decent potions, meats are tender and flavor is good. Not a fan of the sides or desserts. Vegetables and desserts ordered were either bland or had unusual spices added. A bit pricey but most restaurants are now. I'll order again but only the meats.
I am very supportive of black business owners but today I visited ReMo's my first time and I was not pleased with the food at all. The yams and greens tasted terrible. I threw away vegetables. The meat brisket and sausage was just ordinary, I have eaten much better tasting barbecue meats.
Bought a chicken baked potato and fries chicken beans and rice. Chicken was fried extremely hard and full of batter .This was not worth a 45 min drive to get there. The potato was stuffed with chopped chicken which was dry as well. I don’t think I’ll be going back.
I've eaten from here twice now, and most items I've had have been just OK, but nothing I feel the urge to have again. The fried fish was pretty tasty. The baked potato w/meat, boudain egg rolls, cajun pasta w/chicken and sausage were ok to me. I didn't really care for the dirty south rice, and the mac and cheese is bland. Had hoped to make this place my new spot, but will keep looking. Just not my cup of tea.
Delicious food, and suoer friendly employees. Portions were pretty decent as well. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 starts is its a bit pricey. I spent $90 for 3 of us to eat.
Soooo, I’m in town for the 1st time working, originally from the Midwest region and, I must say that I am very disappointed with my folks at Re Mo’s Cafe & soul food. The ribs were THE WORST I have EVER had in my 50+ years on the planet. Now, I’m all about supporting my folks that’s why I don’t have any problem with calling them out! The brisket was ahight, the okra and collards mediocre at best. For $60 I would’ve been taking the time to grocery shop and preparing the meal myself. I will be returning the uneaten portions to you to do with what you will. Very nice folks, terrible barbecue!!!! IJS!!!…. WHUUWIT?!
The food wasn't what we expected from a soul food/bbq. The meat was okay, nothing special but the sides were very disappointing. The mac and cheese was straight out the box, the yams tasted like it was canned, and the red beans and rice was bland. Most likely will not be returning ?
