Places like this are becoming more rare. It is a pure bar: rustic, quirky, fun. There is a large outdoor space. The beer selection is an excellent mix of popular standards and local/regional craft beers. Ghost in the Machine is worth a taste. Friendly bartender who makes good cocktails. Often has live music. Central location.
A very cosy neighborhood and good people. I enjoyed the music and evening there.
Great neighborhood type bar with some exceptional live music. Really nice large back yard area that backs up to Buffalo Bayou. A real gem of a place.
I generally like this place and their band choices. However, this time I encountered an evening/night performance in the large back yard. Bands indoors or daytime music outside are usually great, however, there was no stage lighting either above or foot lighting for the band at night outdoors. They essentially played in the dark, i.e., ambient back yard, basically, tiki level lighting. I felt like I would have been better off listening to them on YouTube since I couldn't seem them.I would recommend calling ahead to check on this before attending performances there.
This is an amazing low key place with a large beer garden area on the Bayou. Excellent musicians can be found here playing both inside and out. Full bar and food truck.
I first went here with my boss, and had a fantastic time. Good drinks, great atmosphere and music. Love the live bands!!!
Very disappointed with this bar. Visited one time after hearing good things about it. After 1 beer and trying to get the bartender to even acknowledge us he then persisted to throw and break beer bottles in an angry fashion with out reason. Guy has a serious anger problem.
I had a great time!! It was my first time vending here and the place was warm and inviting. Everyone behind the counters were awesome. The local was awesome. There were a lot of badass and chill people there. The live music was great (sans his dad jokes ??? I kid, I kid). I'm looking forward to vending again next month. Ruben was very cool to work with, to put the event together. Kudos to the owner of the bar. She had the guys working and everything was awesome!?☺️-Made by Shellien
