we aren't from texas, so maybe what is ? for me, is standard fare here. but the brisket is THE BEST brisket i have ever tasted. other reviews spoke on how the meat is so flavorful it doesn't need sauce. facts! but the sauce is good too lol. i ordered a stuffed baked potato and when i tell you i want THAT bbq baked potato everytime, for the rest of my life, i am not exaggerating! then they have corn on the cobb that is breaded and deep fried ?... i don't even like corn on the cobb but that junk was delicious af. so yea... we kinda liked it lol. def be back. it's a small place though, not a lot of space to sit and eat. which is crazy seeing how packed they get.
Second time trying this place and I wasn't disappointed. Ribs were tender and the brisket was good. Beans were very flavorful. The macaroni wasn't tasteful and the slaw was dry imo. Price is reasonable and the wait time wasn't long either.
Food is always amazing that I can not deny. Customers service and web site communication could be a lot better. Imagine driving a 1hr 30 minutes to get there only to find out they sold out 2 hours prior to your arrival ?....bro I was pi$$ed. But I kid u not the food so good the next day I drove back to rays lol... what I would not recommend is the smoked Mac N cheese, it sounds good in theory but I've tried it twice..it lack flavor

The wait was very long. Way too long for BBQ. 35 minutes at off peak 230. Pm is extreme. The server was extremely nice. I was however very disappointed by the lack of seating. You can not come to sit and eat. There were about 8 tables and all the seats were taken by people waiting for BBQ. Again that wait thing. But, while I hot the lean brisket, that was a little dry, the flavor was amazing. The pork ribs fall off the bone literally. I had man and cheese with was just ok. The baked beans with sausage were awesome. Overall really killer BBQ. One of the best you will find. And bonus : the servings are surprisingly large!
Love rays!!Dine in is present but it's not the best since Covid. I always get mine to go. Their potatoes salad is ? . I'm getting a larger size next time.To ray: I miss your bbq beans bc I no longer eat pork. Can u come into a healthier 2022 and use your beef or even turkey. Let me know if you transition to healthier beans bc I will be in that line.
I had the sausage loaded potato (minus the butter). It was really good including the bbq sauce. They have plenty of cake and pie dessert options. My coworkers really enjoyed their meals too. Both had brisket as a part of their meals. Friendly staff and nice look inside the restaurant.
I order BBQ ribs n it was a waste of money considering the long drive from league city Texas. The ribs were still raw in the inside the BBQ sauce was super nasty, I never ever in my life have potato salad that was sweet sweet I never knew people put sugar in they ugh, baked beans but it didn't taste nothing like it. I said never again would I go there me personally I give them 2 thumbs down ?? ??
I'm a believer in good meat don't need sauce. This place definitely doesn't need sauce. Great brisket, great ribs, & great sausage. Smoked Mac n cheese was good
