Def my top three fav ramen spots here in Houston! Right up there with Jinya! These guys knock it outta the park with how flavorful the broth is!
Pros- The ramen and fried king mushrooms were delicious, maybe the best I've had in Houston. Cons- Table was sticky probably from a combination of the clear coat on the table and the cleaner they use, Table was unstable and rocked constantly, they have a get your own water policy where they give you these small whisky glasses with one water dispenser in the place so that is inconvenient, servers are just kitchen staff dropping your food off so they aren't exactly attentive or friendly. These things are all very easy problems to fix and reading other reviews it seems like they are okay doing business like this so even if the food is delicious I can't rate them highly.
First time at Ramen Jin and I love it, definitely will come back. Great chill spot and great food. Staff are very friendly and kind!It was nice being able to try all the flavors of mochis in one dish. ?
Decent ramen and decent prices. Nothing too special about the flavor unfortunately but definitely not bad. If you are looking for quick ramen without breaking the bank, would recommend! (Also please bus the tables 80% of the tables had old ramen bowls covering them)
This was my go-to place when I still lived in Houston. Moved to Dallas and could not find any good ramen place that beat Ramen Jin. Now whenever I’m in town, this is the first place I go to before I even visit my family lol. Best ramen I have ever tasted.
Came here for the first time yesterday. I’m quite disappointed! This place is a mess and don’t even try to go to the restrooms because you’re going to want to run out of this place. I wish I had seen this before ordering. Ramen was good though.
Oooooh how it was soooo good. I would have easily given it 5 star but my ramen was miss 2 items listed on the menu
I was super excited to visit this place for the miso. Unfortunately The server was rude and extremely unattentive. The table was sticky and he told me to use my shirt to clean it off. He chuckled and never came back to clean it off or offer any napkins. I could go on with more, but no need to embarrass them more than this. Experience is everything. Sorry I won’t be back. This pic may be the reason why it’s empty at dinner time. Please fix.
The atmosphere is nice. Calm quiet place where you can sit down and enjoy some ramen. The menu is not big but that just means they can focus on making the dishes they serve great. The beverage situation isn't too great. If you have water, you gotta keep getting up to refill your water from a water cooler. Other than that, this place is great.
