Home to the best ramen in Houston, Ichi Ramen Bar is well worth the visit. The broth and sauces have a amazing depth of favor. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old authentic neighborhood but it is actually tucked unassumingly into a strip mall. Make the trip become addicted and enjoy!

You order as soon as you walk in, then get seated. The food came out fast and was delicious! They also have a spicy paste you can use if the food isn’t spicy ? enough for you. I used it because I like my food?

We had Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen & Fried Calamari today. Both dishes are UBER delicious and flavorful as always. Calamari (squid legs) is relatively big & chewy. It also comes with a few edamame and tomatoes on the side.I also would like to compliment their staff. They are very friendly with passion. It is certainly a "Must-Go-Back" Ramen restaurant in Houston.

Best ramen I’ve ever had! The tonkotsu broth had an insane amount of flavor and mouth feel. You could tell it was probably simmered for a day or two. The restaurant itself was really nice, felt like a real ramen bar (to the best of my knowledge). The ladies who waited on us were really sweet and even told us of a sister restaurant in San Antonio which we’ll definitely be trying!I personally think $13 is not overpriced considering all the work, time, and effort that goes into making ramen. Google the process for making it: simmering the bones/broth for hours/days, making the chashu pork, making the homemade spicy paste, slicing the veggies, soft boiling eggs, having true alkaline ramen noodles that are cooked perfectly. $13 is not too expensive at all considering everything involved. Try making it at home and you’ll see what I mean.Definitely recommend this place for fantastic ramen in Houston!

The broth was amazing, very flavorful on both ramen dishes! Toppings were generous, pricing was fair, and the older lady who helped us was very kind. Overall, a great first experience here and would recommend if you want tasty ramen!

If you go to the peak hours there is going to be a little time to wait. In the reception area there is a list where you need to write your name and number of persons with you. They follow the list to respect the first come the first in.When you are in, there is a table with the menus. There you order your food, beverages and pay. After that you’ll be located in your table. The place is not big, decoration could be improved, but looks clean. Once you are in your food will be served fast. On this visit, as an appetizer we had fried calamari and edamames. Side dressing were so good between sweet and spicy. For food I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen. My dish was beautifully presented. The stock was delicious, full of flavor. As an extra I added the 5 minutes boiled to egg. They have other ramen options with chicken and a vegetarian ramen. The only thing they don’t have is a GF Ramen, all the noodles are wheat. However they have on their menu some rice bowls.I been in other Ramens restaurants but I always decided to come back here. Flavor is superior.

extremely polite and great service

This place never disappoints. It's authentic ramen is made the right way, and you won't find a more flavorful bowl anywhere else. This is hands down my favorite spot.Pictured: Spicy Tonkatsu

The best ramen I've had outside of Japan. The spicy ton katsu is perfectly seasoned.Noodles are 8/10, but the broth, pork and accouterments are all 10/10.

Good noodles and overall great restaurant. There was only one menu that was placed at the ordering desk and you could choose from it. The orders arrived fairly quickly and the store is fairly small in size. The noodles were displayed in an aesthetic way and tasted nice. They are likely in connection with the Seiwa Market next door because many of their items are similar.
