Their chicken shrunk in the past couple of years. I eat here maybe 3-4x a year, it's very convenient since they are open late & near where I live. The menu is super limited since they are "chicken fingers" - you can get them in a box of i think 2 to 4 or a big box of a bunch of them or there is a sandwich option.You would think that since that is all they have on their menu, they would keep it the same but this is a very noticeable difference in size. Maybe they are struggling like everyone else but it is a bit of a rip off since this is our money we are spending too & now they are basically giving out chicken nuggets instead of tenders. Their fries are pretty plain & not cooked well most of the time (floppy fries are grossss!) Their sauce makes up for it. it's probably just some simple ingredient stuff but it's good & their bread is really good. Love their crushed ice too , so those factors are why i think they deserve the 2 stars. This place used to be a 4* imo but not anymore.Oh & idk what goes on in their parking lot at night but there is a bunch of activity. Cars & people yelling - i know there is a school nearby but this activity is going off really late.I hope they fix the issues with their quality since there isn't many late night options (not even a grocery store nearby anymore) But they probably taking advantage of this fact. hmm.
The lady working the drive through window tonight in the blue shirt needs to rethink her career choice! Attitude was RUDE! She either HATES her job or REALLY needs a day off. Definitely doesn’t uphold the Canes standard!! I was so shocked by her lack of concern for me as a customer that I forgot my drink. Her face screamed I can’t wait to get out of here, take your food and go. Just opened the Window , handed me the bag, slammed the window back and walked off. No condiments, no thank you, nothing!The
Good food and clean restaurant. Has a lot of memorabilia displayed on the walls, including pictures of performances by Elvis Presley in Houston. Plenty of parking too.
The best crew I’ve ever met! I am truly grateful for their service. Everyone that worked tonight had an amazing attitude and made my night! I know to some people food is just food, but I just off of a long day of work & I hadn’t eatin for a good amount of hours. I arrived a couple minutes before closing, got the best positive energy from the great staff & the food was perfect. Now I can sleep in peace! Thank you guys for having such a wonderful staff!!!!
When you ask for well done tenders, they are ALWAYS smaller than the original tenders. Size should not vary much between being cooked regular and well done…
We came through the drive-thru around 10:30pm and ordered only two chicken fingers and a Cane sauce. Our car is in need of repair and makes loud noises. We heard the staff lauging at our car when we reached the window -“that car sounds like it’s going to fall apart”- and so on. I forgot my card and had to reverse the car to get it, and the lady who made the rude comments laughed at us again.When i confronted the lady, she didn’t admit to the words she said. She said she was taking orders. But I have never seen anything like “that car sounds like it’s going to fall apart” on the menu. She accused US of being disrespectful to her. Seriously?! And while I was talking to her, she slammed the window in our faces and left!!!!!I’ve been a Caniac ever since I had RC for the first time back on LSU’s campus in 2010. For such a great company to have workers like her is a huge disappointment. So much for “One Love.”
One of the best fast food places. I love the canes sauce and bread, and those fries are amazing! Delicious chicken.
Terrible customer service skills. Wasn’t busy got almost no communication from staff in drive through. No your welcome to my thank you nothing like I wasn’t even there. I see why this location wasn’t busy.
Always fresh, if small pieces they double up. Good cole slaw and fried potatoes. Quick drive through. Always clean inside. Kind, Houston, Texas, southern welcome. EVERYONE treated equally.
They do it right. Fast service, fresh food. Fresh made tea. This is one of my favorite locations to go-to. They are constantly cleaning up the tables within a few minutes of someone leaving. Plus they offer a senior discount.
