Jay was cool!
The vibe was on point and our server was as well. We had a great view out the window overlooking palm trees and shops. The mixed drinks were quite good. The food, however, left a little to be desired. The meticulous preparation one expects from a sushi restaurant was missing. The fried rice was unevenly cooked and tasted of burnt oil. We were there primarily to enjoy each otherâs company so the lackluster food didnât ruin our night but it wouldnât take much effort to go from average to excellent. Iâd say about 20% more attention to detail and execution on the part of the cooks and chef would significantly elevate things. Itâs the only thing missing from an otherwise perfect spot.
Belated Fatherâs Day dinner
I took my husband here for Father's day and was disappointed that the happy hour was suspended for the holiday especially when the bar area was a party atmosphere and not really a "Father's day" event. The service was good, but it was slow bc our server seemed to be covering a lot of tables. I've been so many times in the past, and it's been a great experience. The food was more bland than the past as well. I was surprised at the experience and the amount we paid for our meal. Maybe, it was just an off day.
The bartender Amy was very rude and off putting. she gave no attention to the fact that I had an allergy and they were definitely not gluten friendly today as they were out of a lot of food
Service was awful. Food ok. Save yourself and do not go to this restaurant. I made two comments to hostess about lack of service and still terrible service.

Just came to grab a bite. I had the spicy wings, spicy shrimp roll and the chicken fried rice to go. The rice was not so great which is odd bc I always get it. The changed The wings and did away with the chili ones I use to like. Sake was great as always and my sis chi was good! We also had the chicken satay, spicy tuna rolls, the rackin shrimp and the viva something rolls. lol. Overall good drinks and food as always.
Great waitress great atmosphere
I love this place, but they definitely need to improve their AC. It was very hot
