This was my first time trying Dominican food and I was very impressed on how flavorful the food was at Punta Cana. The place was busy throughout our lunch which I think it speaks good of a restaurant. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The Ceviche was so refreshing and the chicharrón was crunchy and tasty. Definitely will be stopping by again when in the neighborhood. Also, they have plenty of parking which is something I’m always looking for.
Excellent food ND excellent customer service. Luis was our server and he was so awesome! The red snapper was great, the mofongo. No reservation is required but it is a busy place. Everything is fresh. Restrooms were clean.
first time here we order 6 dishes, each real good took me back to my country dominican ?? ,I highly recommend . muy buena comida, EXELENTE.
This place has Caribbean Oxtails that will knock you off your feet, on gawd! No, but seriously, it was pretty busy when we arrived, and the service was still prompt. We will be back.Big up yaself!
Not WORTH A PENNY! I ordered through uber eats and the food was horrid. The portions were like for toddlers. I've put pictures of what I got: the Moro was hard and dry its like they mixed fresh rice with old rice. the white rice was crunchy. the chicken which I got grilled chicken breast was so small I don't understand why this meal is $15. Then the pepper steak was disgusting shredded into small pieces and swimming in stew. I wanted a taste for back home and this just wasn't it.
Had a great time eating at the Punta Cana restaurant. Myself, my wife and both sons ate here. We tried the empanadas and yucca fries which everyone loved. For the meal, we had a Cuban sandwich, pork mofongo, and shrimp mofongo. The plantain cakes were delicious alone but the garlic sauces really made it pop. Cuban sandwich was delishious and we all were very full. If you like Caribbean food or have never tried it I highly recommend this as a new food adventure!

We thought the food was good for Dominican food in Texas hence the 5 star. The flavors of the motherland will always stay in the motherland But if you're craving r.d food this is a really good spot to get that fix! I had the Garlic Shrimp and hubby had the fried snapper, both were satisfying.
Amazing food. All is very well served and true to the Latin origins. Well worth the drive from downtown. After 2pm on Sundays there is some wait time.
I’m just in love with the food here! I have tried different dishes and all are amazing. I have ordered takeout and everything is ready to go.
