Beautiful room, but it was nearly empty on a Saturday night. In Houston, that was our first hint. Our server was very pleasant, but inasmuch as English was not her first language, we had several communication issues with her about our order. She was attentive, though. The food was ok, but no one was impressed. The âbest-lookingâ entree (I didnât taste it) was my father-in-lawâs filet mignon. He said it was quite tasty.
As always - excellent drinks and food and very welcoming service. We enjoy the atmosphere and soft piano from the bar. The seafood is excellent and consistent upon each visit.
We came in sat Right away which was nice considering it was Mother’s Day. We went to the buffet to get out food and there was hair in the food. The manager came over and just took the plates away no apology or anything. We were all so disgusted we all immediately stopped eating. My sister is 7 months pregnant and vegetarian, so we asked just for a poached egg for her since there was no vegetarian option besides the pasta. While we were drinking coffee water started to drip on us from the condensation of the air vents. When we looked up you can see the rooted wood on the walls, it is not esthetically pleasing. When we got out bill it was $400, we were shocked since we did not eat. We requested for him to take off my sister charge of $65 for a egg and the manager said sorry it’s Mother’s Day I can’t do anything. Luckily we did get him to take off the 2 meals where we found the hair in our food bribing it down to a little more than $300. We went home and had to make our own lunch which was upsetting after paying $300 for a meal we did not eat. My family and I will not be back.
Easter Brunch
The place was very outdated and in bad condition. The orange juice in the Mamosa tasted spoiled. The Easter Buffay was the worst I’ve ever had. Very disappointed
Excelente como siempre es garantía de que vas a comer delicioso y muy bien atendido.
Great location, good service, good food. A Houston standard.
Lunch at The Post Oak Grill was delightful. We celebrated my friend’s birthday there and the food and service were perfect. Our waiter, Vincente, was excellent and the salads we each ordered were delicious. We were given complimentary birthday desserts,Italian Cream Cake and Chocolate Mousse Cake, that were fabulous. Great food and service and an excellent experience. I highly recommend The Post Oak Grill. A happy diner
Very classic traditional Houston fine dining in an unpretentious way. I look forward to my trip back to Houston and return to this delightful restaurant.
