Lovely vibes and music but food does not meet expectations.I’ve walked by this place a few times now and I was hopeful it would be really good just based on the food pictures and the decor. Was pretty disappointed with the quality of the dumplings, they were doughy and soggy instead of plump like steamed dumplings should be.Marinated beef bowl was okay, but it came out luke-warm.Also had the Little Purse ramen and the Tonkatsu Black ramen, all came out luke-warm and the noodles were gummy and doughy.I don’t like to post poor reviews of places, but I think airport restaurants should be held accountable for the amount the charge. Each bowl of ramen was ~$18, but definitely did not match in quality. Would honestly prefer a cup of instant ramen instead of laying for this again.Clearly Houston Airport and the owner of this restaurant have prioritized profits over food quality. Save your money and get Panda Express or Wendy’s.Wait staff was very kind.
Ramen is a world class failure. Cold broth. Not enough broth. Cold eggs (massively over boiled by the way). Service is horrible and I suggest not closing out your tab until you are “done done” so you can reduce the tip bc you will undoubtedly be disappointed. Dumplings are ok. Everything is overpriced. We had two beers, two ramen soups and one 6 piece dumpling app = $85 dollars please. This place sucks.
Same your time and money. This place sucks! How are you going to have me order and not have a bar tender available! I asked for a refund . Young lady upfront advises that I would be receiving it. It’s been 4 days and still no refund. It’s not upset about the money. If you have no bartender, then why let me order a cocktail?
Service seems to be a little inconsistent. The first time I came here the staff had a good attitude, I returned next time I had a departure flight from the terminal and they had no Loaded Bulgogi Fries, no Sapporo, and waitress had a rotten attitude. For a $20/bowl of soup I expect better.
The cost does not match the food quality. The Chicken Shio Ramen had half of a hard boiled egg. The egg was discolored and had clearly been sitting in the broth for some time. The egg tasted intensly of sodium and broth. The black, plastic spoon provided was very small. Customers would benefit by receivinga soup spoon. No options were provided for hot sauce and the server did not bother to stop by to see how the food tasted. I wish I had read the reviews before eating here. I would not waste my money at this restaurant again!
We ordered rice with meat and kimchi. Well the food was delicious but a little expensive almost 50 for 2 orders
Expensive and little value for your money, I know we shouldn’t expect much in airport food but after receiving the meal I was disappointed big time, the place looks really nice but the food was so simple, seems like it’s made from instant noodles, next time will go to any of the convenience stores, would eat better with the same amount of money
Not authentic ramen. The egg was not boiled properly and it was cold. The ramen noodles are just straight out of a bag. Dumplings were bad too, no flavor.
This is what will be the shape of the future. You choose your table. Use the display to place your order. You can pay for it with united miles (i didn't try it) if you are in a party one, person can swipe the card and others j join the tab.Good was good. The miso soup was a tad small. My chicken and shrimp dumplings tasted great. We enjoyed the meal and this was very closr to our gate.
Very nice design, just had one type of dumplings. Maybe change the name to Little purse ramen, because they had a lot of ramens and they look very good & delicious.
