Discovered this gem yesterday. Super friendly chill vibe. The waiter was patient with us, it was our first time there, and explained all our beer options. My favorite was the Amberpus.The music was familiar and awesome. The overall experience has me looking forward to my next visit.Thank you so much!
Stopped in for lunch and tried 3 different beers (their IPA, Blonde Ale, and Amber Lager) and each one had an odd taste of campfire. Food was decent (sausage roll). If the beers didn't taste smoky, I would have given a better rating. Location is nice and staff is very friendly.

I've been a few times before 3-4 years back and it wasn't really anything to write home about. I went back this weekend and honestly loved it. I love the set up of the indoor section and the patio is super cute! It's Australian themed so there's Australian dishes. The beers are tasty with my favorite being the Milk Stache stout. Our food came out quickly and tasted extremely fresh. I had the falafel wrap! Parking is great as well with a parking lot behind the brewery. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back.
My husband and I worked with Platypus for our Wedding Welcome Drinks on the day before our wedding. From the start, Rachna, one of the owners is so flexible, professional, responsive and easy to work with! She was extremely accommodating on a quick turnaround. We booked their entire outside patio for about 70 people. The whole event was perfect. The food was amazing. Our servers were quick and patient with all of our guests requests. James, one of the managers was beyond helpful. It’s an awesome brewery with delicious beer, cocktails and food just to visit on a daily basis, but it’s also a great place to have your next event. 100% recommend.
I love the vibe at Platypus, staff is always friendly and helpful. Beers may take a while to rotate due to a small brewing staff, but there's always something for everyone! Very "family owned" feel that keeps me coming back for a quick sandwich or some killer Brussel sprouts regularly. Add bacon, fresh jalapenos, or avocado (or all 3) to the grilled cheese... you won't be disappointed.Show up on a Saturday and you may get to watch some people get REALLY into Rugby, and that's always a good time.
Cute place and a nice outdoor area, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the beer. Staff was somewhat friendly but didn’t really check in.

The cook was nor being clever or cute by sending out heart-shrimp.
Great experience, knowledgeable and friendly staff, great food and amazing beer! I recommend the Gold Coast, but the porter was also fantastic. Was surprised they have a full bar as well, will have to bring through some of my less beer-inclined friends next time through!
