Ordered pollo saltado and papa a la huancaína and they were the worst I’ve ever had. The huancaína sauce was so flavorless, and everything in the pollo saltado was bland and overcooked. Absolutely terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

So good!! 10/10 Ceviche and empanadas. Friendly staff and plenty parking. A group of people came here with luggages so we knew it was either their first or last stop before they head out of town. Houston is so lucky to have a place like this!

This is my first experience eating empanadas from Peru cafe and I really think their the best in town. I recently had to order a large order for an office party and the owner Carlos made sure that everything went well and was ready on time, I recommend this place, it's a hidden gem
The service was great and the food too. We fell in love with the meat empanadas, were delicious, a little sweet taste, which combined with the spicy sauce, it made it great. Good price for the food. Will definitely go back.
Simply 5 plates for 80 dollars and the food was not fresh, everything felt like they took it out of the fridge and put it into the microwave since the middle was still cold. The anticuchos were ok but considering that I am a Peruvian I would never come back to this place. Anticuchos of the street in Peru taste way better. I got really disappointed that they even charged me for asking for “salsa criolla” which is sliced onion with lemon which you usually get with a seco de carne but this place does not add it to the plate instead charges you 2 dollars for a small portion of criolla onion.In a summary, my dissatisfaction comes from the fact that the food was not at all fresh and cold from the inside of the meat or the tamal.Place to visit only one time and not come back anymore.
We used this restaurant to cater our wedding and they did an awesome job! We got the food delivered from their restaurant all the way to the woodlands and were on time and the food was still hot. We got the pesto fettuccine, sautéed chicken, and quinoa salad and it was all delicious. We got so many compliments and would definitely recommend them!
We had lunch at Peru Café Express. The food was delicious. The restaurant is small, cozy, and very clean. The staff are very friendly. This place will be added to our regular rotations for comfort food. I recommend it if you like Peruvian food.
What a great place, definitely coming back! The service and staff is as you would expect it to be. Courteous, respectful, friendly and professional. Theplace is spotless, bathrooms too, which many restaurants fail to keep clean. Th food is delicious, great serving portions for the price!
