Got the giant shrimp and grits. It’s not as good as it used to be. Shrimp was flavorful but hard. Spinach was too salty. Grits were great as always but the bottom of the plate wasn’t covered with them. The plate is a large portion but not worth $35. This is probably the last time I’ll go. I’ll be better off making it myself.
What can I say about Pappadeaux Seafood?It was a wonderful dinner experience. They have mastered dinner!I had the Mardi Gras, a Cajun pasta in a cheesy cream tomatoe sauce with shrimp, andouille sausage and crawfish... A+!!!!We also had the Filet steak, might be the best steak we've ever had!!! It came with a massive loaded backed potatoe.The Seafood Sampler- lots of fried seafood. And a meal with Shimp, Scallops and Jumbo Lump Crab Pappardelle Pasta... so good!Service was perfect, no complaints.The place was clean, no wait for refills on drinks and the food was quick, hot and fresh.Highly recommend!

Friendly greeting at the door. My server was Ms. Amiyah And she was customer service savvy. Very patient and helpful. The food was delicious, prepared wonderfully. So good, I tipped the chef. PpThis restaurant was clean. Restroom and all. The manager was visible and on the floor. This place has a worm and inviting atmosphere. My first time here and I would come back. 5 STARS FOR SURE. This place has my recommendations.
The place is clean from the front door to the restroom. The food was so good, I tipped the cook. Of course I tipped my server as well. Lol.

Totally love Pappadeaux for their seafood!! This is the place to be on a Saturday night so make a reservation for sure! Originally went to the Memorial location and it was an hour + wait time. So drove to Westheimer & it wasn’t as bad!Love the complimentary bread! My son could live on that alone! So crispy and the butter is given in generous portions as well.They have awesome oysters & fried shrimp. I got the medium portion of shrimp and it was a lot! You definitely get your moneys worth!The baked potato was huge!!!The service was great!
The reservations were behind, which I didn't really complain about bc they couldn't force people to leave, which it seemed like some guests wanted that to happen. I ordered the crawfish platter which was pretty good. My wife ordered the seafood platter, the fish was fried well but unseasoned giving it a bland taste. The Grand Hennessy also had a good taste but I could barely taste the Hennessy at all.
All I can say is: Can't wait to come back! Two of us dined here on a Sat afternoon. My first visit at this Houston location, but I've been to one in Phoenix & Dallas. Ample parking, nice atmosphere and menu prices are reasonable. Our server, Mr. Michael L. was AMAZING! He was cheerful & courteous as he helped with menu suggestions. He got every detail of our order accurate and Michael's calm demeanor and attention to detail made the already delicious meal even better!!! So impressed with his service that I went thru the trouble of calling the restaurant so they would know I am referencing him in this review! Now let's talk about the food. Y'all gotta hit this place up soon! Our appetizer - the shrimp & crawfish fondeaux woke up every one of my tastebubs - simply delicious! My tall glass of Strawberry Mangeaux Tango frozen margarita was loaded with flavor enough to satisfy my drink appetite! Also loved the catfish with red beans and rice! Try the seafood platter, it's so good, especially the fried osters! The baked potato is tasty & huge (as you can see in my pics). Grits are good (seasoned with sausage, corn & butter). Portions were satisfying - plenty left to put take home. Overall everything was great. Certainly an experience worthy of 5 stars!
