First had jjajangmyeon when I was studying abroad in South Korea... we always got it with tangsuyuk. I've always been kinda sad not being able to see tangsuyuk on menus that have jjajangmyeon. So I was super excited when I heard about Paik's noodle house!!! It meet all my expectations... I felt like I was back in S. Korea again! Well definitely go back again... and actually I've gone back again already! Looking forward to more meals here!

What I like about Paik’s noodles - simple, focused menu; freshly made noodles; efficient services, well-priced. Cafeteria setting, order at the cashier, pick up tray when your number came up on the announcement board. The JiaJiang Noodle is smooth, velvety and chewy. While the Jjampong and Sweet-and-Sour pork are popular items, my favorite and default go-to remains the top notch JiaJiang Mein. Tips: they do not open most week nights, so do check hours of operations before going.
Your place guys is weird. I understand that Korean food is about meat and you do not care much about seafood only eaters and so on. But why would you add some meat to the order of fried rice with shrimps. If it says "shrimp/squid/pork", - it should be only that. Were there pieces of chicken? Not having also anything against Mexicans, - but why Mexican guys cooking Korean food? Thnx
The food came out quickly and it was soooo delicious.The store was so clean and cool that it was cold.The staff was very kind.There were a lot of people, so I thought I had to keep time.
Food is delicious and service is fine.
Food was good. But the male manager or owner was very rude. Worst customer service. I also witnessed how the male owner was rude/disrespectful to other customers. He was nicer to young customers and reminded them for rate good reviews. He gave them free sodas. However he avoided eye contact with me while I was waiting for my food 20+ minutes. I will not return even the food was decent.
No matter what others make comments for the food at this restaurant, as a Korean, this is the Chinese food for me!!! (Sorry, it would not be for Chinese though lol). Some people might call the food here Koreanized Chinese food. Anyway, the meals are good! I definitely will go again!!
Rude Manager and slow food. Had to wait 40 minutes while everyone who ordered after me got their food. Also becuase they gave my food to other people first other food became cold while waiting for a single soup.
Before you go, read all the negative reviews.. most of the negative reviews are about the owners rude behavior and aggression.. I too had terrible experience every time i went there.. now i will never go there even if paid me…
