The food was delicious. The server had a hard time communicating with the kitchen. One part of the order we never got it and one order instructions were not followed. Still had a great time with the family and the food that we did get pretty quick was delicious. I’ll give them another try , they are potentially a 5 of 5.
The food is good, but I was not a fan of the squid fried rice. I anticipated it would have small pieces of squid, like chicken fried rice, but there were huge pieces of fishy squid piled on top. :(. The Rocket salad was amazing. The chicken curry empanadas were tasty, but a little dry. The goat cheese and tomato spread with the bread was also delicious. Overall, it’s a pleasant place and when the weather isn’t too hot, the patio is nice.
Great food, service and atmosphere. My wife and I had dinner on a Saturday evening. The only available table was outside on the patio, which had a canopy protecting us from the late afternoon sun. Our waiter, Rubin, was attentive and gave us good advice — start with four tapas dishes and take it from there. We ordered the mussels, squid with fried rice, baked goat cheese with garlic toast and crispy potatoes in spicey pork pork sauce. We ordered a bottle of Argentinian red wine. Everything was delicious, though the potatoes weren’t crispy at all. They were very flavorable. We enjoyed the food and Rubin’s outstanding service. We’ll definitely go back.
We enjoyed our time at Oporto. The best dish was the scallops with risotto; perfectly cooked and seasoned. Non of the dishes blew me away but all were tasty. Cocktails are great as well. Interior is beautifully designed.
Place was great and delicious. The paella was great and the drinks were great as well. I think I have found a great place to come and visit to dine in again. So much food with a great overall price. I highly reccomend that people come here to enjoy some Portuguese/Spanish food (if that is safe to say). Servers are very tentative I am a thirsty guy and drink a lot of water and usually in other restaurants you will go 5 plus minutes without a drink and here they always refilled glasses. So overall great food great service, and definitely will be back in the future.
We were here last Friday and it was a great experience at the patio. The food is amazing I especially like the scallop tapas. The waiters were attentive to us despite being really busy.
They have great cocktails, friendly service, and fantastic flavors!! Unfortunately they didn’t have the oysters when we went, but that will give us something to try next time we come. Even though everything we tried was phenomenal, the scallops & risotto and banana pudding for dessert are MUST try’s!
Four of us went for happy hour to try their small plates before we go to Portugal this summer. Everything we had was delicious. Not a miss in the bunch. Then we had bread pudding and a Portuguese tiramisu for dessert and both exceeded our expectations. Service was very good and prices reasonable. Their patio was lovely and the place was packed. Can’t wait to go back to try more things.
My dining experience at this restaurant was unique and enjoyable. Although it was a fairly cool night, the space heaters kept the outdoor patio cozy and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend the crab & avocado crostini which tasted fresh and delicious. The batatas bravas were also flavorflul, and the Madeira bread pudding was an excellent dessert.
Had dinner here with another couple. Great Portuguese dishes. Nice size servings and friendly, helpful staff. We'll be back!
