Very delicious food, but the atmosphere wasn't what I was expecting. Maybe we came on a slow day. The pricing for an appetizer was quite extreme...mac and cheese for $24 is a lot for a midscale restaurant. I think lowering a few appetizer prices or heightening the regular menu would make more sense. I didn't like the automatic 18% gratuity. My friends and I didn't know that was a "thing".

Today we had a wonderful experience at Olive and Twist for brunch. My friends and I arrived from Louisiana and Michigan to this restaurant ready for good food. Jacob was our awesome waiter and he made great food recommendations. Everyone said the food and atmosphere was perfect! The creole omelet is a must-try, it has incredible flavor. One staff member even helped us take a group picture. Thank you for being so courteous and professional and awesome. We'll be back!

Parking- Very LimitedUnless there is additional parking elsewhere, I only saw the 8-12 spots in their parking lot.Facilities- read belowService- ok (read below)I think the ambiance and atmosphere at this location is amazing. It gives off a brunch vibe. I think that might be their staple. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating with televisions on the walls above the bar and around the restaurant. There is soft music playing that allows you to get the shoulders moving a little bit because of how good the music is.Service is interesting. When we arrived we were seated. One of the server's name was Marquis, he was obviously very knowledgeable and had been working there for some time. Everyone else that we encountered seem to be new and unsure of being new items as well as protocols for certain situations. We had a good time the food was phenomenal with the exception of the mashed potatoes which were bland. We arrived on steak night which was on Thursday and that steak was spectacular. It comes with 2 sides which you can substitute but I don't remember what all the substitutions were. The sides or the steak were covered with a red wine reduction. I have no clue what that is or means but it delicious.Unfortunately, our evening took a turn after we finished our meal.A mouse was spotted by my party of friends. Where the mouse came from is a mystery but we were able to lead it toward the exit.Does that mean the mouse was sampling food in the back?Is there a family we separated the mouse from by ushering it outside? Was the mouse from outside and just found a way into the restaurant? That was disheartening hence the reason I gave our experience 3 stars. I want to be optimistic and say the kitchen is sanitary.

Pros: we were able to book a reservation on a Saturday. It didn’t take much and it was very easyCons:- there was little to none parking. We had to park at Some other place and pray to God we don’t get towed.- the food was very expensive. I’ve been a Houston native and never had an issue paying for food but we paid over $100 bucks for medicate food- Mac and cheese is one of my favorite things and I get at at everywhere so I ordered it here as well. It was extremely cheesy. We asked the waiter if he could take it off the bill and he was kind enough to do so. It was disgustingly cheese… barely any macaroni in it and it was $24… like what?- both my bf and I ordered fish and grits. It was okay. My food was cold and could be warmer but it was delicious nevertheless.other than that it was a great experience.6/10 dinning rating. Will return maybe.

We enjoyed the food.. The crab cakes were OMG good. Tables were dirty took forever to get our food so we took it to go. I'm glad we did because that pasta was yummy and spicy ? I would go back. I only gave 3 stars because of the dirty tables and time we had to wait. I understand they had a big birthday party going on but plan ahead so you won't neglect your other customers

Highly recommended!!Our server recommended the Creole Omelet and the NOLA Crawfish Benedict because my husband and I were undecided what to try. The recommendation was worth it. Our food was hot and fresh and we did not have to wait a long time to receive it.The customer service was excellent and the artwork and design of the inside of the building caught my attention asap. The staff seem like they all get along so well and I notice they were very helpful with each other. True definition of teamwork. If you do not have a reservation for a table on the weekends you will be seated at the bar. I know for next time I visit. I will definitely be back when I visit.

I was there today for my friends birthday brunch and I had a great time! The food was good and I loved the ambiance. Also the music selection was all of that too! I also would like to thank Marquise, our singing waiter for taking care of us. He gets 5 stars. We will certainly be back!

Pictures wouldn't do the food justice. We had the can nachos and the French toast with chicken and bacon. EVERYTHING was delicious!!Waitstaff worked well together (they checked on our table even though they were not our waiter/tress Everyone was friendly and attentive.Parking is limited in the front but additional parking behind the restaurant. You don't need a reservation but I would recommend having one.Sunday's are for brunch.

Nothing but wonderful things to say. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. JJ was our server and was just a delight to talk to. Delicious food! Can’t wait to try brunch!
