From the moment we walked in last night, we were greeted by friendly smiling faces. The hostesses were very quick to ask how many were in our party and if we needed any children's menus. I thought we would have a long wait time and was very surprised when we were immediately taken to our table. My party was not large, but I was still expecting to wait longer to be seated. Our hostess told us our waiter would be with us shortly and he was. I believe his name was Kevin. He was very busy since it was crowded last night. His demeanor and service was great. The food was delicious. Our family dinner experience was one of the best we have ever had. Table check out was easy and as we left we were again greeted by the hostesses with words of thanks and to have a good night. Well done all. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
It was good my order was on time they brought it up to the car and everything was Warm and perfect I even ordered extra entree for dinner tonight So now I don't have to cook tonight I have gone there 2 or 3 times and they've already sent me a $15 off An appetizer coupon I will use it if I ever An appetizer coupon I will use it if I ever go in Side I don't think the appetizers would travel well
3/9/22 We went to the NorthShore location at 11am & our experience was Bad. We waited for 8-10 mins. for a server & finally had to walk to the hostess stand to ask for a server. He finally arrived & took our order. When we ordered salad, we were advised the OLIVE Garden restaurant was out of OLIVES! The food arrived later, but no drinks. We advised our waiter & waited so long that I had to go to the bar worker & ask for water to drink with our meal. A while later, the waiter showed up with our drinks. No apology. We had constant issues with our waiter & it topped out when he argued with us about a lunch menu item he had incorrectly charged us for. My daughter’s order was wrong, no spoons for our soup & no ice in the tea. We asked for bread plates that never appeared. The food (we finally had) was decent, but the service was terrible & we won’t be patronizing this location again.
After this, I probably will never return. This is the 2nd time I was left with oily food. The texture of the food was horrible b/c of the oil. It was all I could taste. Then sometimes the soup is under done. Vegetables were so hard & crunchy. But I will say, when there is a problem. They are quick to fix it & make sure you are taken care of.
I will always love their food despite service. This location had great service as far as me picking up the food, but I couldn't help but notice that from the employee or manager perspective, it just seemed like a few were working really hard wow a good handful were just standing around talking near the hostess podium. I've worked in the restaurant business, and I know that ain't acceptable. Hopefully someone with power from that restaurant sees this post and squares that away. There are customers to be taken care of while the wait staff signed up to do the job.
So the place is super popular because of the pastas, and yes pasta is amazing the waiters always take their sweet time to come back at you for orders but this time our waiter was on top of it so shout out on that.The place is pricey for a pasta but lets be honest everyone including me had tried to recreate this pastas at home lol failed ?. They do need to clean the restrooms everytime we gone there they are super dirty they say they will clean but never seen change and with pandemic going on they didn't even change it probably they don't sanitize either rather than that everything is good. You can dine in, they have variety of wines and alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks I recommend to get the raspberry lemonade, and as for soup the chicken one. Plates are really big we had to take some to go boxes because we were full already after the appetizer.
Yes I had spaghetti with meat sauce was exactly what I anticipated. Had a surprise birthday dinner and we had good service and good food.
The gnocchi soup hit the spot after being out in the cold today. I had the unlimited soup and salad and everything was great. Soup was just right on temperature. The bread sticks were hot and garlicy and the salad had plenty of black olives, those little green peppers, not sure what they're called. The greens were fresh and crisp and the croutons were crisp and tasty. I didn't save any room for desert, sorry about that. Even with a tip my meal was $10.00. I don't know anywhere else you can get that great a meal for that cheap a price. Shoot, Bang, Fire, I went to Whataburger yesterday and it wasn't that cheap.
Food was great service was on point and the server was super nice.
Sat at the bar with Andy. What a great experience! He communicated very well and got everything right. The food was amazing... we didn't expect this level of quality. The chicken was so tender and full of flavor. The salmon was cooked perfectly.
