Really tasty food. Everything we ate was really enjoyable and it was a treat since Jamaican food isn’t very common.The juice was incredible as well. It is home made and really stupendous.I could see us returning and enjoying our meal again.
JUST PERFECTION!!!!!I can not emphasize how all the flavors came together and danced so graciously on the tongue. I had low expectations considering the location. (Houston) As always, Houston delivers another under the radar but LEGENDARY establishment.The authentic ingredients goes to show this is a legitimate Caribbean Restaurant.It may be pricey for one meal but I'm sure it is because these ingredients a imported and bought directly from a first hand vendor.I will be making my return here once a month!!!! Just to remind myself of what the Caribbean holds in store for me.
I am beyond disappointed with my experience here today. We brought some friends because we enjoyed the food so much the first time we’d thought it would be a good time. The service we received from the girl in the store was HORRIBLE. She acted like she didn’t know anything and laughed at my friend when she asked for a condiment. The food was good but the drinks??? They were okay but not nearly worth the price that is not even listed on the menu. My meal said it would come with a garlic bread and when I asked for the bread she acted like I was stupid then proceeded to say they don’t do that anymore; even though it’s on the menu. The rum punch is $18 and not listed anywhere on the menu which I think is absolutely atrocious. Spent $100 to get horrible customer service, criminally over priced drinks without being told a price before hand, and some okay food. Even worse is when we went and tried to resolve the issue the owner of the store didn’t care one bit and actually laughed at my boyfriend on the phone. Will never be going to this horrible place again. Hopefully they learn some actual customer service.
Hi guys first time I ordered the chicken jerk plate and it was absolutely delicious. ordered through uber eats food was still very hot and the flavor was amazing. I have to say what I liked the most is how the chicken fell off the bone. I highly recommend this place very happy customer will be coming back!
I ordered from her a couple of times, and let me tell you, this is the best Caribbean food you will find in this area. I ordered the Jerk Chicken and Passionfruit Lemonade and when I took that first bite, I knew it was the TRUTH. The pricing on the dishes is fair and you can tell that these people care about preparing good food, I mean the chicken I ordered literally was falling off the bone. Overall, I wrote this review to thank the staff for a great meal, this is now one of my go to places to eat.

Best Brown Stew chicken. Service is fast and efficient. They take orders over the phone and give you an accurate time for pick up. It’s always busy but the food is always hot and ready. Very flavorful and authentic.

I came in ordered my food 10-15 minutes later some guys walked in and ordered the same thing I got (now I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes already) about 13 minutes after they ordered they got their food. So I asked how come they got theirs before me and I ordered way before them. She said “I don’t know I didn’t make it” then instead of going to see why my food is taking so long she decided to be a dj for the guys that walked in. 5 minutes go by and I ask for my about the status of my order and she said “he’s making it” without going to check if he was or not…which he wasn’t because I watched him walk out the front door. 5 more minutes go by and she still talking to the guys and hasn’t went to the back to check on my food yet. So I asked for a refund then she wants to act like she cares about my order, but I still got a refund because honestly I think she gave them my order because she wasn’t worried about doing her job. Please hire people that’s going to help your business, don’t hire them just because they need a job. Plus she’s rude and not even Jamaican rude just plain old rude.
First order was excellent... Brown Stew Chicken and Curry Goat. I have searched far and were wide for a decent vendor who gives you what you a decent curry goat dinner and I thought I had. But the second dinner was Curry Goat Bones and a lil piece of beef mixed in...never again. These days Goodwill and Quality Assurance seems to be missing in small businesses which is probably why they stay small!!! At $20 a pop I deserved some meat on them bones.
