If you are craving some great ice cream with unique flavors, look no further than Nu Cafe. Their shaved ice shop is in the heart of China Town. I have been to this location probably 3-4 times over the years but I haven't been in a while. Let's just say I was overly excited to return. For the shaved ice itself, you have two options for sizes (Hill for 1 or Mountain for 2). My girlfriend and I decided to each get our own as we have different dessert tastes.I went for the strawberry base with condensed milk and mango poppers. The ice can stand on its own but the condensed milk really adds a lot of flavor to this classic taste. The mango doesn't really mix with the strawberry but I just love the poppers so decided to act up and get it anyway.My gf went for the milk tea flavor with condensed milk and red beans as the topping. The safer choice in my opinion but don't tell her I said that.Anyway, highly recommend this place. Perfect ending to a date night in China Town for anyone wanting to see the real Houston!
This desert shop is one of my favorites in the Bellaire area. Every time my family visits Bellaire to eat we always go here to order and share some nice shaved ice. The service that we have experience is always so nice and it brings an overall great mood for my family. I would really recommend ordering the mango flavor with flan and mochi. If you are a chocolate kind of person it's a great combination with Oreos and strawberries.
I loved it. It's ice and very delicious. Greentea mango and strawberry. I added a drizzle of caramel and some almonds later. It was amazing. I'll definitely come again.

My second time trying out the fluffy snow ice or shave ice, definitely going to make this my must stop whenever I visit Houston for sure. The cashier/server was really nice and courteous, hope owner can consider to open a store in Austin or teach me, I'd love to open chain store in South Padres Island or Austin ?? and probably think of ways for customers to try it out with online delivery and order.The ice is very dense and tasty, you can tell when they said it's a mountain, it is a MOUNTAIN! Good dessert to share on a date for two, looking forward for future visit.

Best 綿綿冰 outside of Taiwan. This is the only place where I can find peanut butter flavor.
