Tonight was only my 3rd or so time in this place, and the first time in something like 3 years.Not a bad spot. I don't see Shelley or JT tending bar tonight, but Hollie took great care of me.Andrew the KJ is still running karaoke and still doing an excellent job.Cheap beer! Only $3 for my Silver Bullet bottle.Update: Came in tonight thinking it was Tuesday. It was really dead...I was one of two customers. MP took real good care of me. Less than $6 for a man-sized shot of 1800 Silver---that's good!
Decently sized neighborhood bar. Bartenders make great drinks, service is good, and karaoke is fun.
can’t make old fashioned, WONT make old fashioned.i’m always about a dive bar but please don’t mock my friends when we order one of the most basic cocktails in the world.was hoping for a better experience with my new “neighborhood dive” but i’ve known plenty of Houston business owners who refuse to modernize or even attempt to make their business more successful by being slightly more open-minded to see that’s how NJs operates.
Bartender refused to make an old fashioned. Acted surprised and mocked me when I asked for fernet. The last time I checked, fernet is not a “fancy” liquor. Get a grip.
Cool dive bar hidden of the main path. Bartenders are super sweet. Karaoke is cool to listen to even if you aren't a regular
Possibly the diviest dive bar inside the city limits. Karaoke is always fun on Tuesday and Friday.

I was with my friend and we went for the first time ever last night, it was karaoke night. (Tues) we had fun talking to some friendly people and watching them sing.Hollie and Kristen were really amazing bartenders! They were so attentive and nice! We appreciated that they got the foil off the modelo! No one does that anywhere! Lol.We plan to come back.
Was immediately greeted by the sweetest bartenders, Hollie and Kristin who both welcomed us with smiles! And they took the time to peel the foil off my Modelo- I already love this place.
