We were at Niu Jiao Jian Hot Pot on Saturday 7/16/2022 . We were barely greeted by the gentlemen. He did not explain the process as this was our 1st time at this particular Hot Pot. Btw: it’s only one menu available and it is $30 per person. He was not helpful at all and actually quite rude. He snatched the menu and started circling stuff with an attitude. As if we were incapable of doing it. We just needed some guidance/ direction basically just explain it. The service was poor. The food was mediocre. I specifically asked for the bowls for noodles and was told no they didn’t have any. I had to get bowl from the seasoning bar. The customers that came behind us had all the proper utensils for their meal but I even had to ask for a second set of thongs for the hot pot.We tipped cash but the gentlemen decided to add his own tip on top of the cash to the ticket after we left which ended up being around $30 more. This place is not a trustworthy establishment, please don’t use a credit card/bank card of you decide to patronize this place. You’ll end up with fraudulent activities. This is extremely ridiculous. Now, we have to dispute these charges.

I have had better. The price is almost as high as other restaurants that offer ayce, but the quality of the dishes is not there. The beef tongue is not cleaned properly. There are big blood cloth on every piece of the meat. The fried rice is pretty oily. The beef tendons are a little bit old and have the weird beefy smell with it.
I was very excited to try the new all you can eat menu here! It was my first time dining at Niu Jiao Jian, and I had a great experience! The staff was super nice and helpful. They took time to explain the AYCE menu and how to order. They had a great variety of seafood, meats, veggies, dumplings, etc. I highly recommend!
Hotpot lover here! Lovely AYCE place. Love the decorations. The broth is super delicious! The spicy one at most place just looks spicy, but this one IS actually spicy, which I love! Definitely coming back!
A great place for your hot pot craving as the Szechuan spiciness is really spicy. A good selection of different kind of meat and all of your basic vegetables and mushrooms to pick from. The atmosphere is really cool with all the neon signs inside the restaurant.

Since theyhave AYCE recently, me and my friend decided to tryout the food.Food 2Service OFirst of all, the service was TERRIBLE, we have to callthem so many times and waited so long to get theirattention. After we sat down and circled what we want on the menu, the servers walked passed us so many times and after 4-5 times trying to call for attention, they finally pick up the orders. We finished our "first round", the table was basically empty and no one bother to come and ask if we need more food. Spend almost 15min to ask for the menu for the second rounds, and another 15 min for someone come and get the orders (just beef and sausage) but we ended up canceling these since they took too long to bring out.What frustrated me the most is THEY AUTOMATICALLY TOOK OUT 15% GRATUITY WHEN THERE WERE ONLY 2 PEOPLE EATING!! This is ILLEGAL.If the manager or owner see this, Please give me anexplanation for this.
I love the food, the service is always excellent, and the meal is an experience all in itself. We also received a $10 gift card for future use, because we finish all the food in 90 minutes. THX
Worst Restaurant ever, DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! They recently have the All You Can Eat option, it used to be a famous restaurant so we would like to give it a try. However, they gave us such a bad experience.SERVICES:1. We asked for a high chair and they put it in front of the service door, they also refused to move it when we said it’s dangerous for a baby sitting in a serving area.2. You will never see a server, even we went to them and ask for something several time, they took more than 30 minutes to bring it.FOOD:1. Never renewing their sauces area, they are short on most of the sauces.2. Dirty plates and dirty bowls, you can still see the oil in the bowls.3. Food are not fresh, there vegetables is color changed and their enoki mushroom did not even cut the root.4. Although we know the real product will be different than the picture, but we never expect it will be totally different, their seafood combo didn’t even have a same thing with their picture.5. We didn’t order the spicy soup based, but their bone and tomato has no taste.BILL1. We only have five person, but they charge 20% tips directly which under Texas law they only change charge the mandatory services fee for parties may be as few as six person.2. The cashier and the boss were very disrespectful.
Nobody serves you if you didn’t ask them. The food just so so. We ordered many dishes and urged them many times, but lots of them never received until we paid the bill. Not recommend.
