First time. Cool brewery. We'll definitely come back. Beer was great! Plenty of seating. Staffs is cool. I like it ?
I love all the beers they make. And there's always something different to try everytime you visit. Definitely bound to find something you enjoy. The ambiance is super chill and i love doing the social bike rides every month!!
we hosted my husbands “diaper party” here & the owners/bartenders were great! they provided several options to reserve the space as well as purchase drink tickets for our guests. the brewery is a great space, front patio, indoors and a covered back patio. several different games to play. and everyone enjoyed the beer - i’ll have to come back and try the beer after the baby arrives. thanks to the owners/staff at new magnolia for being an excellent place to host our diaper party!
Pretty good ipa and really good Malty Amber Ale. They also have lavender cider. The brewery is in an open air converted warehouse off the beaten path. Hidden gem of The Heights. Perfect on a nice day but could be sweltering on a sunny hot summer day.
Awesome spot to grab a beer and bring your pup, dog friendly throughout the building. Beers are unique, light, and refreshing. Great deal on 4 packs to go Mon/Sun.
New Magnolia Brewing is one of my favorite spots in Houston. My husband and I love the atmosphere and the people and it’s a pet friendly place. My husband is big into beer and I am not so I never know what I want ? the bearded guy asked me what kind of flavors I like and he found me the beer that worked best and every time he is spot on.
Decent beer. Terrible service. Came right after they opened and there were 3 guys that just started at us when we walked in. No greeting, nothing. The bearded bartender just stared at us while we looked at the menu. We sat outside and felt like we were intruding (to the point that we asked to make they were actually open). It was our first and (probably) last time here.
What a great find! This is a gem with great beer, cool venue and great service. So glad we found this place and we will be back. Looking forward to trying more of their beers.
Great little spot just west of the heights. Good beer with a variety of taps. They have ciders and a few vines as well as soft drinks for the kids. Very family friendly atmosphere. Lots of board games, corn hole, foosball... Plenty of seating outdoor on the back porch and front patio as well as inside. Went when they had a pop-up, fun vendors and good food bites. Definitely a fun vibe to go and chill or watch some sports.
New Magnolia has some great beers in unusual European categories. The Oaked Pils is one of their best mixed fermentation ales that I have had. The taproom has a cool industrial style that matches the repurposed building that they occupy. Family friendly too, brought our twins a few times.
