My grandmother, brother, and I stopped in today after a mid-week Astros day game. Neil was there and had just gotten back from the game. We were served immediately. Welcomed like family. The whole bar is a fun environment. Just love this local place and the owner clearly goes beyond for his customers!!!
Cool place, expensive drinks. Everyone and your exes know about this place. So yeah, it’s great. Karaoke dj isn’t the greatest…y’all need Bob Lane!

Neil's is always a favorite before or after a ballgame, soccer match, or convention. I'm a huge Simpsons fan and comic nerd, so it is a welcome haven for a quirky soul in search of a place to chill, grab a drink, and play a classic video game or check out a comic book for a bit. Highly recommend. The staff is always a pleasure, as well.
Neil the owner is amazing and very kind. The bar is a whole vibe! Stopped in for shots while downtown on scooters, fell and cut my arm Neil came with his 1st aid kit and took care of me. Customer service is impeccable here I'll definitely stop in for shots whenever visiting downtown.

A fun little place, very unique and gritty but unlike any place else in the area. Drinks and diversions are plentiful -- vintage console video games, board games, ping pong, TV, and a selection of comic books and manga to enjoy while you sip. Unfortunately, their actual opening hours don't seem to match what's advertised online -- so don't go too early!
I was having a great time, or so I thought.Went to buy a drink for a new friend and I when this blonde bartender cut me off because apparently I made other patrons uncomfortable?Funny thing is I made sure to keep track of how much I was drinking because I didn't want to spend too much BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE A DRINK MENU OR THEIR PRICES POSTED OR ANYTHING, so I had 4 PBRs and two shots in 5 HOURS. ?Cut off?Either your patrons are just uncomfortable regardless and can't deal with a nerd who knows how to socialize, you guys don't understand how BAC works, or people can't actually be themselves at your bar.The games are cool.The comics are cool.Your bartender who isn't Brittany sucks and can't read people to save her life.
