Exceptional food and service!! The best Indian restaurant in Houston. The food is flavorful and has retained the traditional taste unlike a lot of westernized expensive Indian restaurant. We had a party of 13, seated in a semi private lounge. Service was very good. We ordered the house special of Raan. Appetizers and desserts were very innovative and yummy!!The management and staff deserve a lot of credit for running what is one of the best Indian restaurant in the US.

Overall a 10/10 their menu changes with the season but a great experience! Loved the vibe, the music, and the food was extraordinary! Please get the Lamb Chops if you love meat! They have vegetarian dishes too!

So far I’ve only been here once. The service was exemplary and the food was unique and very flavorful. I can’t say enough about the quality of the service. This is a place that really knows that service makes or breaks a restaurant. The atmosphere here is amazing. I hope to come back soon and bring a larger party. I almost forgot to add that their drinks are unforgettable.

My friends took me here on a Sunday evening while I was visiting out of town. Most of the food was excellent! The broccoli and cauliflower appetizer and octopus appetizers were amazing. The lentil coconut soup was a little bland after the appetizers. For main courses, we shared the Last Maas, the Meen Mango Curry and the Palak Paneer. The Palak Paneer was hands down the favorite with the Meen Mango Curry in second place. There was a drizzle of chili oil that was too spicy for two of us. If you could avoid that bite, it was delicious. The goat was tasty but it was not tender enough to break apart with a fork. The loss of a star comes from service. Our original waiter was great. I loved how attentive he was. However since we had the 8 pm dinner on a Sunday, we ended up with a new waitress for our main course. We hardly ever saw her. We ran out of water and even after asking twice never had it refilled. We had ordered a second round of cocktails and they ended up showing up with dessert. In Addition, After the appetizers, they took away our first plates and silverware. I had a knife and they didn’t replace it. The goat was tough enough that I needed a knife and in the fifteen minute where I never saw any staff get close to us to request a knife, we ended up having to share with the only one left at the table. I would also recommend including serving spoons for parties that are sharing family style. When spending this kind of money, I don’t usually mind having gratuity included, but because it was so hard to get her attention - and I definitely saw her standing around, not pointed in our direction, I probably would not have tipped quite as much.I would go back for the food, but definitely avoid the staff reduction/room closure hours.Additionally, the restaurant is beautiful. Take some time to take a quick walk around and view it!

Come here for the atmosphere!!! Can’t speak much about food but the views within the restaurant will take your breath away!! Also be prepared to spend a lot of Benjamin’s! We came for deserts and cocktails and left about $120 dollars on the tables without any food or appetizers. Worth visiting for a lifetime experience but will give it sometime before we visit again. Ask for a tour! You can’t just leave without visiting every little corner of this place! Also highly recommend sitting at the bar—- a way to get to know people and have more fuuun!

I work at an Indian owned and operated company. We went there for a company dinner and it was phenomenal. Everything we ate was decedent and delicious. My co-worker who is from India specifically stated its the best Indian food he's ever had from a fancy/expensive Indian restaurant. For those who assume fancy Indian food means mediocre and over priced, look no further as this destroys that stereotype. It's incredibly expensive but if you can shell out the cash it's 100% worth it. 33/33 score

Pretty good experience for the ambiance and the experience. The food is pretty good. It’s just very pricey and upscal-y.

The food here is excellent. We ordered the butter chicken experience and it was thoughtfully crafted and executed. Also ordered the lamb shank, the meat was well seasoned and was so tender it literally fell off the bone. The cocktails were great (though a bit on the pricey side) and always love a place that has beautifully clear ice cubes. The service was a delight, our server was kind, informative, and made great suggestions. The ambience... just wow. There are so many incredible details with every glance. The bar area, of course, is quite noisy. But if you prefer a more intimate and quiet setting there's a room towards the back that is more secluded. If you want to be seen but also take in the scenery (while still able to hear your conversation partner), the tables along the wall facing the kitchen and bar space offer just that.Overall, a really amazing experience. Will definitely be coming back!

The food was so eclectic, elegant and savory. The waiter was so knowledgeable about the origins of the different menu items we ordered that with him sharing them with us, it made each item extra special. And the tour of the facilities after dinner was like an extra serving of dessert. We were awed by the detail to which the owner has gone to in order to create a decor that was elegant, ornate and royal. Thanks for a wonderful, wholesome experience!
