Lived across the street from this place for over a year without going in, huge mistake, this place is absolutely wonderful. The patio itself is underneath several hundred-year old live oak trees and is perfect for outdoor dining and they serve Beck's menu from next door. Will be going back soon!

Walked in and Lou immediately said hello and asked how he could help. I said it was my first time and they rolled out the red carpet! Asking what I wanted to drink, I said, I’m a bourbon girl. Brings me behind the bar to show off his impressive collection. He tells me to choose 3 bottles I’ve not tried before to do a tasting from lowest to highest proof. I brought my own cigars so grabbed a glass and hung out on the back patio. Lou and Kayla checked on me multiple times and made me feel like I was part of the family. This will be my go to stop every time I’m in Houston! Thank you Lou!!!!

I like the patio ambience but the staff was not all that nice and welcoming. It was giving a mom and pop vibe.

I was in town with some friends for work. We found this bar near their hotel. It was great ! Very relaxed. Bar tenders asked our names and then checked in on us from time to time when we would need fresh drinks. Had a great time. Will definitely recommend to anyone. Next time I'm in Houston, I will be coming back.
They clearly do not welcome people under 50 years old. The bartender with dark hair and glasses was super rude and could have handled the situation better. Came in on Saturday night and there’s was only two regulars, I guess it didn’t work out for a reason.
