Today i went in and ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and it was HORRIBLE!!! It had a really strong smell of dog food or wet dog that wasn’t pleasant at all. Also the guy that was taking orders was really rude as well, when i told him i wanted to order something else.
I love Thai food and I and usually I am not a very picky person but I would not pick them again. The eggrolls were still cold inside the potatoes and carrots were not fully cooked and the chicken was very tough, over cooked. But I still paid full price!
Food was good. Hard to compare taste but for me the food tasted like fast food. I did eat everything so no complaints! Would probably go back due to convenience of location. Give the place a try as my rating is based on my taste buds :-)
I loved the food here, it was great. The lunch menu is affordable. The atmosphere is very chic but caution that it is a small establishment. The lunch menu portions were also filling. I recommend the fried calamari, the papaya salad and green curry with shrimp.
Great Thai food restaurant. Authentic and delicious. My wife and I have gone there for years. My tip...Try the duck curry or the Thai basil stir fry. But really, you can't go wrong whatever you order.
Everything we had was delicious and cooked to perfection. The shrimp rolls were really yummy. The pad Thai was great. The portions were generous. The service was friendly. Found our new local Thai spot!
Great food! Used to be located in rice village. Kind of a different location but there is plenty of parking and much less traffic. They seem to do a good amount of take out orders as well. Lots of vegetarian options.
The guy server from today is horrible bad attitude not friendly slow and shouldn't be helping guests. My Shrimp egg roll was raw I spit it out paid my tab and left. Did not order anything because he made the atmosphere feel gone.
I remember the original restaurant when it was on Morningside in the Village being pretty good. Sadly, this was about the worst Thai I have ever had. The veggies (lettuce, celery) in the soft spring rolls were not fresh. The spring rolls were also rolled horribly and literally fell apart in my hand as I went to take a bite. The Pad See Ew was dry, bland, and the noodles were extremely mushy. Houston has so many excellent Thai restaurants to choose from. I will never eat here again.
Good quality food (fresh veggies and good quality noodles), good cook ( noodles cooked correctly, meat cooked till done not overcooked and dry), and good prices (Les than $14 for an entree) make this an easy choice in an area with a lot of good options. Love it!
