Scrumptious food. Simply one of the best gourmet hot dogs I've had. I tried the wild hog with toppings of the chef's choice as well as the duck/foie gras combination with the chef's choice and they were stupendous. The boar was meaty, savory, and excellently paired with the mustard and pickled toppings. The duck was wonderfully complimented by the citrus notes and fresh taste of the sauce. I haven't had the chance to try their other menu offerings, but I am willing to bet they're just as good as their "tubesteaks". The place has a nice vibe and one of the coolest murals I've seen- wolves and wizards rolled into one awesome purple package. It's built into a transforming shed that can have the walls up or down, and there's plenty of picnic style seating to partake in. They take their orders at the front and have an open igloo for water refills.Of course, we've gotta talk about the beer offerings. The Moon Tower Inn offers an expansive menu and definitely will have a brew to match your preference. The menu is divided into categories for ease of reading. We'll definitely be coming back!!
Had their elk and buffalo wine dogs…. Don’t see why this much hype. They were not good at all. The dogs I had at Minute Maid were by far better!!! The cheesus almighty sandwich, blah! Not sure if I’ll ever give them another shot unfortunatelyReply to owner or whomever replied to my post: sure will! Thank you for the recommendation! Guess bad feedback is not up your alley unfortunately. As a business owner, we must learn to take all feedback and learn from it. But thank you, this reply only guarantees me what type of business you guys run. God speed!
The food is delicious and there is ample seating! I loved the music selection and how friendly the staff is. I will definitely be back!I super recommend the southern caviar appetizer. It's nice to share, but I honestly could have eaten the whole thing by myself. It's absolutely delicious!
Great atmosphere with excellent service. Really enjoyed our Cheech and Chong Burgers, they were very filling. The hotdog was delicious but I don’t recall which specific one I ordered. The house Kolsh was tasty and smooth. There was plenty of seating to spread out if needed. We look forward to returning.
Wow. What can I say? I had the Rabbit, the flavors were AMAZING, vibrant notes from the herbs, soft pretzel bun, wonderful texture. I did the Chefs choice which is when the chefs decorate your dog for you. Absolutely fabulous. Great customer service, clean bathrooms. I will be back..I'm determined to try every flavor hotdog!
Excellent hot dogs, not your typical ones. Definitely recommend the rabbit and duck. Great selection of beers and relaxed atmosphere.
This is how you do it. Delicious with a very nice outdoor space. Parking on the street was very vacant. We had the rabbit, deer and elk. Scrumptious. Texture and flavors were delicious. The casing was nice and crunchy. For the rabbit, I could taste the white wine. Also Was not a small sausage, and the chefs toppings were generous. The pretzel bun was so good ?. The dogs were paired well with a tall Duvel. Everything hit the mark. This is a place that knows what they’re doing and knows how to make a whole experience out of something that doesn’t seem like much. BRAVO!
Best burgers in Houston! Looking forward to coming back with friends.
Wow I had the Cuban. Pulled pork and pickled okra? It was the best Cuban, heck the best sandwich I've ever had. I need to come back for the other items. Beer list is legit.
We had four hot dogs: lamb, rabbit, duck, and pheasant dressed chef's way. I was concerned the chef wouldn't make it in a way I would like it, but I decided to try something new and am pleasantly surprised. These are now my favorite hot dogs.
