A friend highly recommended Mono's to me, so we had to come in for a visit!Everything was delicious. I ordered the ropa vieja and we split a starter of fried yucca with an awesome garlic sauce. I also ordered a jugo fresa con aqua which was a delightful frozen drink with fresh strawberry.We ordered empanadas to go at the end of the meal for lunch the next day. Both the Pollo and the Carne empanadas were very flavorful. I should have ordered more!I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

Excellent platters, empanadas; it was tasty and nice area. Waitress was very nice and helpful. She would explain what your order included and served hot. Definitely go again to try La Bandeja platter. I order the shrimp platter with white rice, beans, tartar sauce. Tasted homemade like mom would make. Try it! I'm going to try a lot more of their food..wasn't greasy. Thanks to the cooks, waitresses, etc. They had my favorite Heineken.?

I have visited here a total of three times and let me tell you, the very first time the meat was seasoned so well that it's like you want to keep chewing forever. I came the second time and there was no seasoning AT ALL on the same dish that I received. I came her a third time and they serve me some shredded pork mess! The only time I will be coming over here is to go to the margarita shop next door
I come here very often because the food tastes good, it's a local restaurant , and has a great lunch special. They just need more staff to attend tables during lunch.
The restaurant was about to close but I was allowed in. My visit was too sweet inspite of communication differences justified during my visit. The manager came out and invited me to return, I complied with a koolaide smile!!!
