I went here with a friend yesterday morning for breakfast. It was my first time and she’d been once before. I must say that the service was phenomenal and the food was amazing. I’ll be back, a million more times. Thank you for a beautiful experience.
Today was my first time at Mo’Better Brews. The host at the entrance was nice to me and had me sit by the bar. There I was greeted by Kerry H., who was super friendly to me. His small talk made me feel relaxed and welcomed. I ordered the waffles with vegan chikin and black coffee. Food was so good that I ate it slow intentionally to savor it. I met a friendly vegan at the bar and her friend that had ordered some dishes that I plan to get next time. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and I credit Kerry for sharing his friendly vibe with me. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have good vegan food in a pleasant atmosphere. ?
Delicious Black owned vegan brunch with a live DJ
My first time here. The staff, food and drinks were absolutely fantastic!!!! and the music was A1.
Yummy for my tummy ? My friends and I had multiple items on the menu. I ordered the Pesto with Lump Crab. My friends weren’t too hot with the gumbo? The sushi was cool. The artichoke dip was cool. The atmosphere was super nice. I loved the art and vinyls. No liquor but wine and coffee on the menu. Parking situation not the greatest but there. Super small parking lot but some street parking available nearby. Staff friendly.
A geat experience with your food can be found here ?. Be warned ⚠️ if you go on a Sunday, the wait time for a table will be up to 1.5hrs. The staff was friendly and ready to greet. Most was well informed about the menu options. We also received a free samples plate because of our wait. Would have been nice if the manager came over to great us since it was he who sent it. Everything we ate was fantastic! We will be back, just not on Sunday, lol
This newish spot is very popular with vegans (vegetarians) and meat eaters, so expect to wait for a table during peak hours.Based on the items I had, the food is excellent. It is 100% vegan. The Almond Butter Croissant was very good considering it was missing the eggs. The grits were absolutely delicious, and I only do butter and sugar in mine (sorry salt and pepper folks). And I can say they were even better the second day when I enjoyed my leftovers for breakfast. The Hot Honey Shrooms (Oyster Mushrooms) had a very nice and well seasoned crust/skin on them. They dish was a perfect portion and delicious brunch item. It will be hard to try something different next visit, but I will...not sure what though.I hope next visit to have an opportunity to try their coffee...
Really fun and welcoming restaurant/coffee bar. Everything is vegan, but don't let that stop you! It's very tasty and filling. The fries are truly amazing. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is limited. Street parking available but watch the signs. Service is fast and friendly. Great for after a visit to the museum district.
Simply delicious! We had the Cajun Croissant and the Hot Honey Shrooms and Grits. The Hibiscus Mimosas were also very good. Large serving size and excellent service. We did not have to wait a long time to be seated in first available. Nice atmosphere great location in the Museum District. I can’t wait to come back to try other items on the menu.
Black-owned vegan restaurant done right! Great location in the museum district, friendly service from arrival to exit, nice laid back music, delicious brunch food and a good variety. Kid friendly environment and they loved their vegan pizza. I respect the coloring sheets and my kids enjoyed the representation too ❤️Even my picky pescatarian hubby loved the food (he got the Cajun croissant). Love that everything was vegan, even the wine and beer. So excited to return!
