The food is so incredible.. and the staff is even better! Definitely recommend. The decor is great.. we love having a great place like this in our area! We got it to go this time.. and we demolished it within minutes!

It's the closest to authentic Persian food outside of Iran. The food is served in style. It's just a few tables inside but beautiful alfresco seating outside with fragrant plants.. If the evening was pleasant the food and the ambience sings it's own melody. They have helpful servers. I absolutely loved their food. I will definitely be going back to explore more dishes.

Quite possibly the worst Persian food I have had at a restaurant in the world - and I mean world. I am Persian myself and grew up in LA. Granted my standards may be higher since LA is nicknamed "Tehrangeles" but still - I have had better Persian food than this literally everywhere - Kansas City, San Francisco, Paris, London, even here in Houston, Austin, and Dallas. We ordered the chicken with bone, sultani, and tahdig with Gheymeh. The Gheymeh stew was interesting in that it looked like it would be thick and flavorful but when you ate it, it tasted like water. The chicken wasn't at all seasoned with neither lemon nor saffron, which is what anyone making chicken kabob is supposed to season it with. The sultani also lacked flavor tremendously - koobideh for sure the worst u have ever had. This was the type of restaurant where you are sure no one persian nor anyone that has had Persian food must own it. Like "haven't you eaten this stuff a thousand times at family parties and all over the city to know what it is supposed to taste like"? And the prices were insane! $8 for baklava that was tiny. And we didn't order it - but filet kabob for $38?!?!?! Even in LA where inflation is way worst than here I have never seen such a price. Just look up "barg kabob" at other establishments such as the ones in Westchase and see how much they charge. Granted I know this place is adjacent to river oaks but still. There was a reviewer that apparently was Persian and said this place reminds him of home cooking. Either you are the son of this establishment, or your mom was a terrible cook. This didn't taste like any Persian food I have ever had.

Great salad. Even greater Persian ice cream! Don’t miss out on this amazing ice cream ? saffron and pistachio super delicious. Definitely 5 star ⭐️

Yes. The quality of the food is good. But a restaurant is not all about quality! I placed my order via phone for pickup. First, they answered the phone after calling 3-4 times. When I put my order, they said it is going to be ready in 25 mins but it took them 45 mins to get my food. Website has two sections lunch and dinner. I placed my order at 2 pm and I guess it makes sense to check the lunch menu. When I wanted to pay, the prices were different ($12 chicken with bone on website was $17 on check). I told them that the prices are different than your website and they said that this is the price for dinner. I asked dinner at 2:30pm?? So apparently the difference in lunch and dinner menu is that they are exactly the same, but dinner portion is larger and hence more expensive! Again, the quality was good but totally not worth the price you pay and the service you receive. Finally when I opened it, there were chicken with bone and without bone mixed in my order although I ordered chicken with bone. I also ordered cherry rice with nuts that there were very few cherry’s and nuts compared to the portion of rice.

We had boneless chicken kebab with hummus. The quality and taste of food was excellent. Hummus was okay but kebabs were perfect. Great customer service and atmosphere. A bit pricey but delicious.

Miri’s kitchen is the best experience I had since long time, it has whatever you wish for and more. The place is in great location with a chic decoration ,very high end utensils and welcoming space. The owner is very nice and the food was amazing! BEST BARG ever?!!!Definitely will be back soon.

Elegant place with good service in a great location, though the food was pretty disappointing!! We ordered the “Sultani” and the “koobideh kebobs” which they looked great but absolutely tasteless!!! Especially the koobideh kebob was extremely dry and chewy and nothing juicy about it! Well apparently they just opened up this place so let’s hope they work Little harder on their recipes!

Miri’s is wonderful. True Persian food which is different than Lebanese. If you’re looking for Lebanese food, this is not it. I had the lentils and rice with raisins and dates. It was extremely filling and had enough left over for two other meals. My friend had the rice with fava beans and dill. When the staff realized she did not care for it, they brought her a sampling of three other rice dishes (my friend is vegan). The complimentary hummus is creamy and very tasty. I’ll definitely be back to try the lamb and other dishes. The staff is attentive and extremely accommodating. There’s an outdoor area to sit at as well.
