So I placed an order at Mikes Seafood today for 2 pounds of crawfish. They sold me crawfish and the meat was completely black in color. I called and spoke to the manager named Ivan and he stated that he is sorry they were black but it is nothing he can do about it. He said that's what happens when the season is over. I have been a supporter of Mike's for 8 years but this lack of customer service when you give out bad seafood is unacceptable. Be careful giving your business to a company that won't even offer a comp or anything when they sale bad seafood. You have lost a customer.

Good place for sea food, margaritas not that good. When we first got there they had the air condition turned off. About 5:00 5:30 it was turned on. So in H-town in July really not good, but otherwise the food was pretty good.

The food was good flavorful. We had crawfish and seafood platter a raw oysters and fried. Unfortunately I was not very happy with the service last time. I can see some of the staff playing around they forgot the fried oyster It took over an hour to get them to get it done and I had to keep going back to ask for it. We ended up taking it to go and of course it was not as cold or reheated.

Totally lousy food; shrimp and fish were cold straight from kitchen. The only thing halfway warm were the french fries. Avoid at all cost. I'll never go back. I guess "Mike" was elsewhere. I doubt he even still owns or runs the place (Hwy 6). I was taken in by all these "excellent" reviews and was looking forward to finding a good seafood place nearby. Nope. Whoever is cooking needs to be fired. I think the bus boy could do better.Like the review below, the shrimp fried rice was awful. I too could do better.Stick with the good restaurants that deliver quality on a consistent basis; don't throw your money away on cold food. Oh, and bring your own fork and knife.

Too many favorite dishes at Mike’s Seafood. All a must try! Their batter is well seasoned and quality is made to perfection. Their grilled oysters reminds me of NOLA style if anything pretty darn good. Something about their well seasoned batter is what we lack in Dallas.• 3-5 lbs Crawfish• Fried oysters• Charbroiled (grilled) oysters• Fried Wings• Fried shrimp• Fried rice

Great food. Great flavor on Crawfish and the way they cook the stir fried rice is very good. Only complaint is the place can be too packed but the food is worth the drive.

I was surprised to see whole fried fish on the menu. Crispy on the outside and soft and moist inside. Very tasty. And the onion rings were delicious as well. Will definitely go back.

A restaurant with thousands of reviews with a rating of 4.5 stars says everything. The service is friendly and efficient. Boiled crawfish was well-seasoned with a complex flavor, and perfectly cooked. Raw oyster was sweet and fresh, while grilled oyster with butter and parmesan was top-notch. The food quality is on-par with any famed upscale seafood restaurants, but the price is unbeatable. A dozen of raw, fresh, sweet oysters only costs $14 or around $1 each, a dozen of grilled oysters is $23 or around $2 each, and crawfish in season is only 8$/pound. This is simply one of the best seafood restaurants in the Houston area.

I decided to try Mike's out while having new tires put on next door at NTB. This was not a mistake. Mike's was delicious. I ordered the special which came with a crab cluster, pound of crawfish, shrimp, mussels, two potatoes, corn, two containers of Mike's sauce (basically whipped garlic butter with seafood boil seasoning-FANTASTIC), container of melted butter, and an extra container of seasoning. My stomach got ahead of myself, and ordered a medium house fried rice as well.Maaaaaaan!!!! I went for spicy, and all of it came out in about 15 minutes and delicious. I had to eat a shrimp before taking the pictures, and the garlic mixed with the seasoning was the business. I knew the rest was going to be a treat. Usually, I'll let the mussels bathe in the butter while I peel a few crawfish; really let's it soak in, and I did with the first one, but then I tried Mike's sauce. No need for the soaking, just dip and enjoy. The crawfish were mixed sizes, but all had a lot of flavor packed on, and most importantly in. Some were big enough to make working for the clawmeat worth it.I barely touched the fried rice, but it was also good, and ended up packed up to go.The manager came by about half way through my meal to make sure I didn't need anything, so I felt taken care of. All in all, I have zero complaints, and will return with my wife.
