Especially the crispy and perfectly seasoned bread crust. ?*The staff are friendly*Reasonably priced!Cons:* Wait time was long considering they weren't busy, but I don't know the cooking process. This could be normal* I received the wrong order. When I asked about it she told me that it was in fact the sandwich I ordered. My sandwich was supposed to be spicy and have jalapeños among other things. This was none of that. But still delicious so I was ok with keeping the sandwich. But they did swap my side out for the correct one.*The soda machines were broken. Only choices are lemonade and iced tea. Which was fine for me!I will come back for the sandwiches :)
Derek has great customer service. He knows me by name. He always makes great recommendations and gives me insight on the menu.The food is great but Derek's customer service is top notch.
Super good sandwiches! Full of flavor and lots of options for different dietary needs. Can customize. Servers are friendly. Had a mix up with one of my orders, and Sergio really went above and beyond with customer service. Also I am obsessed with the curry couscous side dish. Will add this restaurant to my sandwich rotation- thank you guys!
Just ate here for the first time this week and really enjoyed it. I ate the spicy Thai chicken sandwich with a side of potato salad which were both very delicious. The chicken sandwich had this sweet crunchy slaw in it which added even more flavor and deliciousness to it. I really loved the relaxed zen feel of this place and I went around 4 pm on a Friday so it wasn’t very busy when I got there. We had really great service and really good food. I’ll definitely be going there again on my next trip to Houston . Unfortunately the sandwich looked so good and delicious I ate it before taking a pic.
I placed a catering order which was quite challenging as I was back & forth with the management, who seemed to always be in a rush and not take the time to listen and give proper assistance, poor communication overall. We were also missing a few items in the order as well. The quality of the food itself was good for the most part and staff members were friendly. I would not recommend their catering service, and specifically the boxed lunches. Also, as I foodie, who loves Vietnamese cuisine, the Vegan Banh Mi was not good.

Incredibly healthy and tasty meals, especially the new bowls...my favorite? the Mediterranean Chicken Bowl. You can eat inside where tables are nicely spaced for a comfortable and safe meal, or outside where you can people watch folks visiting Rice Village. Nice selection of draft beers. And the staff are always incredibly friendly, efficient, and accommodating to those requesting special orders (ummm.....me).

Mendocino Farms overall is a great concept. I love that they have clean eating and vegan options. The GF bread is so good! I’ve had the pastor chicken, pesto chicken sandwich, orzo side, green bean salad side, and taco salad. The seasonal green bean salad is the best side dish I’ve ever tasted! Please consider making a salad size with more tofu . However, they add too much sweetness to many of their meals. The pastor chicken would’ve tasted better less sweet. Honey almonds on pesto chicken sandwich too sweet.
