Rachel responded promptly, answered all of our questions, and guided us to choose the right flavor/filling/type. Our baby shower was on Sunday and they don't normally do delivery on Sundays, but they went out of their way to help the-mom-to-be worry less and make our event as easy as possible. They delivered the cake on time on a Sunday morning, and helped me carry the cake to the 19th floor and set up the cake before the shower started.Stunning cakeThe cake is exactly what I was hoping for, from the colors, the fondant icing on top of the cake, the patterns on the icing, to the fondant cake topper, everything was just done to perfection! All of our guests were beyond impressed by the cake, it was definitely one of the highlights of our baby shower. The cake not only looks good, it tastes even better. The cake is moist and fluffy, sweetness level is just right, the vanilla creme filling was light and creamy, even the fondant icing tastes delicious.Thank you, Memorial Bakery, for making our baby shower perfect!!! We are beyond grateful!
Really disappointed in the flavor. There was also a fly in their display case. Told the staff and they half heartedly tried to get it out but ended up pushing allcthe baked goods back in and leaving it alone. Heard the koloches were good but really nothing special. Cinnamon roll was super dry and didn't even have cream cheese frosting. Wouldn't go back.
I ordered a custom cake right off their website. Spent over thirty minutes on the phone with a young girl going over each detail and was assured I would get what I ordered. I had the cake delivered and it was the right cake but not the correct size that I was upcharged for and never received.My event was on Sunday and the bakery was less than helpful in correcting their mistake. Cookies here are delicious but I can't say much about the service. Complete disappointment.
*If you're looking for custom cookies, do not waste your money at Memorial Bakery. We have used Memorial Bakery for several special occasions in our family and unfortunately they have disappointed us to where we don't want to order from them again. My sister placed a custom order for my 40th birthday party, sending pictures of cookies that Memorial Bakery said they could do with no problem. A couple weeks later and the day before my party, we receive a box of botched cookies, not presentable for a milestone party. The icing was messy, not dried before packaging and what's more disappointing is that when my family wanted an explanation on why the product was so terrible, the store employees said it wasn't their specialty anymore and they've had complaints before, but somehow thought it was okay to continue promising customers they could do it. Memorial Bakery is not proud of their products if they thought these cookies were suitable for such a special occasion, especially for the price they try to sell these for.
Tried the red velvet, cream cheese was stiff and not a ton of flavor. Better than a grocery store, but not worth $3/ each . Next I tried the strawberry cupcake, I didn’t finish it. Cake was underbaked, and artificial sweeteners too strong. I give it 3 stars because some people might like it, but I didn’t care for it. The redeeming part was that the staff was nice and the cake texture of the red velvet was nice and soft
We ordered a two tier cake for a birthday. The quality is phenomenal. Strongly recommend this bakery.They have a very good raising bread as well. Always going back for more
