Unfortunately, 3 staff members didn't show up for their shift and the staff that was working were all new. I actually felt really bad for my server because he was still learning and it didn't appear that he was getting help from the manager as he was being pulled every where. The AC didn't appear to be at full capacity because everyone in my group and other tables were sweating, but it was the hottest day of the year too. Two tables got up and left because no one one brought water or went to their table. The food was good once we received it, that took an hour. I really just felt bad for the team.
Our server, Luis was super attentive, polite, kind and conscientious about serving us. The fried deviled eggs were my favorite. The friend chicken was a bit on the over fried side but it was still very delicious. We will definitely come back to try their other menu entrees and appetizers.
Solid as always. Jerk lamb chops were amazing, subbed mushroom risotto instead of. Caribbean rice. Yummy & creamy.
Our very inexperienced waiter kept running off without taking everyoneâs order at the table, and there were only four of us! First with the drinks, then with the food orders. One person in our party did not get his food with the rest of us. We could not get anyones attention, so our friend walked over to the manager to tell him he had no food. We were all almost finished with our food by the time it arrived. They said they would not charge us for that meal, but in checking our bill, we discovered they had added two extra drinks and two extra entrees to our total! Again, we had to get up and ask for help because no one was checking on us. The manager was barely apologetic, just shrugged and said it was the waiters first day. This was a Saturday night, but the restaurant was only half full. We wonât be back.
Such a delight from start to finish. From the arrival to the last cup of coffee. Thank you MAXâs, you never disappoint!

Our server forgot multiple items over and over. Took 25 minutes to get a bottle of wine opened and brought to the table. They said it had to be decanted but it just had cork in it and they strained it through a coffee filter
