Met a friend for lunch, and this place is what I love about Houston… just regular people serving amazing food to regular people. Coffee was great (and I’m picky). Mufalatta was on fresh French bread. Fried mozzarella was delicious. I’d come back here again. Service was excellent.
Great Italian food. Staff was friendly and everything on menu looked great. I had Lasagna and will definitely be back.

Excellent food with beer and wine
Been going there as a kid my GMA Trevino loved it , you were in heart an our spirits today, love the memories we shared there an the food is awesome and staff Is awesome
I had been here about 8 years ago and it was very good. I thought I was taking my sister to a great Italian restaurant in an area that would really surprise her! It was less than mediocre, we could have been better off buying frozen. What really upset me is that when I went in the past they had an actual effort towards service and quality. Not the case! I sincerely believe they are on their way out because it was very SAD.
This is THE GO TO place to eat before any Houston Cougar athletic event. I have been eating at Mandola's Deli back when it was a hole in the wall over by Hobby Airport. For any Cougar fan who has not been here give it a try and check out all the UH memorabilia on the walls you will not regret it. GO COOGS!!!
