Hot Pot Szechuan Soup

It’s a hotpot buffet now, I like everything in this place from decor to the foods, not so bad with the price and the stuffs you getting from here.

Very interesting hot pot style where you grab your own ingredients. The ingredients are all in a fridge in the back. This does raise a slight waste issue since most of them are on skewers which will be thrown away. If you are in a group, the skewers is a very ingenious idea for splitting food and easy eating. Lighting is a bit dark and the chairs uncomfortable. The restaurant is a cultural blend of the traditional hot pot from China with modern convenience.

Very interesting combination with skewers and hotpot. I found out it’s been trendy in China but haven’t got a chance to try here in Houston. Glad Malubianbian brought this unique dining experience to H-town.Soup is around average but they have variety of food choices in the fridge, which is not common to see in other hotpot restaurants. It also comes with unlimited Blue Bell ice cream after you finish hotpot. Will definitely come back!

Okay, my honest opinion about this place is purely about how my experience was. I got here on a Sunday night. It was not bad of a wait: about 15 minutes. I went with a friend who went before and helped me out in choosing which broth to get and what to do. We got the spicy szechuan and tomato broth; both were delicious. Grabbing the ingredients for the hotpot from the fridge weren't a big deal and it was a neat idea. It's very different from other places for sure. There were plenty of selections that were good enough; you got your noodles, veggies, and meat. Some items weren't quite fresh but I know they do their best to switch it out. The skewered ones were cute and easy to cook in the broth; you just stick it in and take it out once it was done. Luckily, they have a disposal bucket for the sticks. I would go back here again to try out the other broths. It's a nice place to go with friends but not too big of a crowd.

Best hot pot in China Town! I been there a lot, highly recommend, the broth of the hot pot was so good, the traditional spicy pot was the best I ever had.I have tried all the hot pot places in this town, This one definitely the best. The service was ok, I don’t really expect a good service eating in China Town, but the lady in front desk, idk if she was the hostess or manager, she was so, so nice. She s very friendly, and once I have a lot of stuff in the back of my truck, I called and asked for a table next to the window so I can watch my car, she kindly saved us one, and when there was some food that’s empty, I will told her and she will brings me the food I want.10/10, for their awesome broth and the nice lady who care about the customer.

We felt bad service yesterday,First we wanted a spoon to separate the two soups, but we were greeted with a particularly unfriendly look from the service staff.Secondly, when we need to add soup, the service staff told us that you still have a lot of soup that you don't need to add. Finally, after we checked out, we were going to chat, but the service staff came over and said to us: We still have reservations, so we were asked to leave... But we didn't know there was a reservation before we sat down.Oh also, three of us have diarrhea one after another. I went to the toilet countless times from 5am to 5pm.Really bad experience!Precisely because it wasn't the first time I went, I was very unhappy with the problems I had! And terrible service!

Nice place in China Town of Houston. A bit pricy but worthy! I feel that I lost the way to China in this store. Really unique area. AYCE every day. The server is fast. We just need take foods from the fridge and enjoy it.

The very first restaurant that we tried in China town! Food was great, fun experience. Great deal for all you can eat. The waiting time was extremely long! Had to wait an hour to be seated. But the staffs were very friendly.
