Chicken was very rubbery and when they gave me the bbq chicken they said they were out of teriyaki sauce.

Lots to unpack here. My wife and I went to Hawaii and found a hole in the wall at Wikkiki Beach and my wife has been craving it since so we tried this place. While it wasn’t at all what she was after, we were blown away! The Spam Mumbi is a must! My daughter had the garlic shrimp and was wild about it. Wife had Katsu chicken and simply loved it. I had the beef short ribs, chicken thighs and bbq beef. It was really good. A little pricey ($68 with a tip) but to be fair we had three entrees and two appetizers. Will definitely come back soon.Owner was super nice as was the girl taking orders. We are impressed.

I am from the Pacific Northwest and had access to a lot of hawaiian bbq there. There were a number of places to go. Since I have been in Houston I have been in search of a great Loco Moco, hawaiian chicken and teriyaki place. Guess what, I have found that place and I am in love. The macaroni salad in the traditional creamy mayo, the teriyaki is thick, sweet and rich, the meat is so juicy and tender, the rice sticky and their loco moco is amazing. All I can say is that I now order here once or twice a week, and even though my wasteline is probably suffering, I definitely am not! You must try their short ribs if you love beef fat. If you guys started serving a hawaiian lava sauce and a hawaiian pea salad, that would be sprinkles on top. Great job!

Great food. I was in a trip and wanted to try Hawaii BBQ while in town. The food was great and so was the service.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stopped by today after craving some authentic Hawaiian food and it did not disappoint. The macaroni salad was outstanding, that's why I asked me shrimp and spam. We'll definitely be coming back.

Easy to find and plenty of parking. Good is great and is a very clean restaurant. Prices are very fair. The food is delicious so come hungry. Pictures are lumpia, Spam masubi, and Hawaiian bbq and katsu mix.

this place is awesome! best teriyaki chicken ever! can't wait to try the rest of the menu..prices are affordable and personnel are polite .

This place is a hidden gem that is absolutely delicous and has very generous portions. Easily can be shared between two people for any plate. Great selection of juices and very friendly staff.

We love the food here! My go-to is the teriyaki chicken and the katsu chicken. It’s Hawaiian style food, but it’s also the closest I’ve found to Seattle style teriyaki. Best of both worlds! My love of Seattle with the relaxing memories of vacationing in Honolulu.

Wife and I were born and raised in da islands, sometimes we like take break from bbqing and cooking up our favorites from back home and came across this place, decent atmosphere, wife loved the cities of Oahu and Big island on the wall but the food...worst we had, musubi was size for my 6 yr old, plates of food were small compared to udda hawaiian spots, the guy behind da counta rude, simple questions had rude answers, no can change my sons option from rice to fries cuz already cooked, extra charge to substitute bbq mix plate, bbq tasted like ginger and rubber soaked overnight, katsu was decent, katsu sauce tasted like ketchup with sugar, pretty sure da guy taking da orda was da guy cooking also, i wasnt raised in Hawaii but wife was....this place sad, no Aloha spirit here, we understand that places are probably franchised and things will be different but cuz...atmosphere and food gotta represent us islanders, besides, da name says Hawaiian BBQ, this place one and done for us, we look elsewhere for hawaiian grinds!
