Everything was very delicious! The host was great and attentive, seems like a family run restaurant. Really good quality of food, with fresh juices and strong coffee.

Amazing experience at Lucy Ethiopian Restaurant. The waitress was amazing and the ambiance was outtasight. The highlight of this evening is of course the food and we were not disappointed. Everything we tried was a first time experience and it was to die for. The food was full of flavor and culture and it was amazing and an experience I won't soon forget. Thank you Lucy's for giving us a true Ethiopian culinary experience!!

Went with the wife to Lucy the second time. Food was as good as we remembered. Couldn't get enough of the red lentils. Lucy's food is consistently good will be our to go for Ethiopian cuisine.

My boyfriend decided he wanted to try Ethiopian food, and his birthday was coming up so we decided to go to Lucy's. Best decision ever! The food was absolutely amazing. We started with the Eggplant Dip and Sambusa. So good! The Sambusa came out piping hot and crispy, and the sauce that came with it was delicious! The eggplant dip was smooth and lemony, and came with plenty of pita bread slices. For our entrée, we went with the Meat and veggie Combo. It was plenty of food for just us two, and everything was flavorful and delicious! I was concerned about the spiciness of the dish when I ordered, but our server (who was very friendly and helpful) assured me that it wasn't too spicy and that I would enjoy it. She was right! One of the people in our party ordered the Beef Girgiro Tibs. I tried it and now I know what I'm getting next time! We didn't mention to the server that it was my boyfriend's birthday, but she saw one of his presents and guessed for herself. Towards the end of our time there, all of a sudden we heard loud music start playing from the bar area and the server and Lucy herself came out with a piece of Baklava with a birthday candle and we realized the music was a birthday song! They brought him the Baklava and also put a cape and a little birthday hat/crown thing on him. He felt really special and it was a perfect end to the evening. We will definitely be returning and I would absolutely recommend Lucy's as a great place to dine.

I'm pretty sure they do not wash their produce. So disappointed, I love their food and come here almost every month.

We went to lunch on2/23/22, I did not ask our waitress her name but she was so lovely! The Shiro is some of the best we’ve had!!! We got the veggie platter and loved every part! Will be back for sure.

Food was so delicious!!! I’ll be back twice a month at least.. very friendly waitress too.

Very very good! Came with a friend for dinner. I had the raw Kitfo. She had the veggie trio. Fantastic! Super relaxed atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Staff were all friendly and service was quick enough for my liking. Definitely a reason this place is sort of a staple in Houston fr Ethiopian! Would highly recommend!

I took my son and my niece to lunch at Lucy's restaurant today. It was great. We enjoyed the everything. We will be back.

The atmosphere is very African with a ton of artifacts to add to the look and feel. The food was interesting. Some of it didn't agree with me but that because I didn't specify I don't want it spicy. And it's spicy as hell! FYI. They have a lot of menu items for vegans too. Ample parking in front and behind the restaurant. There's a hookah room in the back...for smokers...
