Customer service was horrible. If only you could see the look on their faces and the tone they were speaking to me in. I felt an immense pressure to hurry and pick my food items and it should never be that way. The worst one was the heavier lady at the register with the ponytail and glasses being condescending. I’m just trying to have lunch I don’t need the attitude. These people need to go look for another job it’s obvious they don’t want to be there. The only nice one there was the waiter I just don’t remember his name.
I've been coming here for well over a decade and have seen it slowly decline over time. To be fair, I did come relatively late in the evening, so that's on me, but the food had presumably been sitting in the heating area for a minute and was dry. It used to be a good price for a good meal, but it's starting to get more expensive for a worse meal. I don't go back more than once a year anymore, and I used to go monthly at least.
I ordered a veggie plate to go. The food was hot and tasted good. There was a lot to choose from. This location has always been good and the dining room is clean.
Waitress Nuvia pretended not to speak English when asked if they had sliced bread lol but was chatting it up with another customer.i had almond fish which was bland and dry. Got loaded potatoes and something else which slip my memory because it was uneventful. Anyways my boyfriend who was with me said the better the neighborhood the better the lubys. That is sad but true
Normally pick up lunch here once a week but last vist no rolls i was already at office on Hillcroft no around the corner so didn't go get rolls. Today went no gravy had to return cause we need our gravy. But after taking last bite a hair in mashpatatos ?♀️
Never ordering Lubys for uber eats again. Flimsy cutlery for liver ans onions? I couldnt enjoy my food. The mac and cheese was super bland and the okra was soggy and spongy. Okra is my usual side. I shouldve gotten the green beans and bacon. Food was not freshly made and worth $15 for one person. The packaging was ordinary. You get more when you dine in for sure. If you eat Lubys just never ever get it to go or delivered. I was craving their liver and onions. Didnt quite hit the spot.
I had the roasted chicken Mac and cheese and cabbage…the chicken could have been crispier but it had a nice flavor and it wasn’t dry..!! The Mac was creamy and good…and the cabbage was really good…all the vegetables looked good and fresh…im going back for a vegetable plate soon
I had a very bad experience today I had a roach in my peas and the manager Mr Mike came over my table and stated that there nothing wrong with it because it’s the same recipe that they been using so he couldn’t replace my food. Mr Mike also stated that it has to be something wrong are defective with the food in order for the to take it back well hell it has a whole roach in it that’s defective enough I won’t be back this place have gone down also the management Thanks Mr Mike
This location is terrible! From the food to the strawberry FantaMy dish wasn’t all that bad but my friend was not happy with his dish and he’s greedy so I know he wasn’t lyingI asked him to describe what his drink taste like: Alka-Seltzer…..I felt bad for suggesting to eat here?
Luby's always have good food l like but the last time when l pay in cash with $50 my payment was $24: 30 cents l not checked my change in the bill said my money back was 25. 70 that not right the cashier only returned to me $15 dollars with 50 cents l feel bad but l not came back because l was busy if somebody had this kind of experience please letter know to the manager was in 12121 Westheimer something wrong with the cashier take care. I don't like this kind of action.
