Who ever cooked today should be fired. I ordered chicken, dressing, mac n cheese, and green beans. First my chicken was completely under cooked. I had to put in the oven for 30 minutes. The table spoon of dressing was full of celery and flavorless. The Mac n cheese was flavorless and watery. The green beans tasted like they were straight out of the can . Waste of money. This plate was made for the trash can.
Been a long time but finally went back to Lubys today. Food was all prepared well, a bit trimmed down from the past, but certainly understandable. Loved every bite from the roll to the cherry pie! Employees all friendly and helpful!
Terrible customer service from management (Brian). I went through the drive thru before going to work at the Hospital. They forgot to put my gravy in for my white rice. I called and spoke with Brian and he said he was sorry but offered no solution. I explained that I don't eat dry rice and that it totally messed up my meal. I said you're not going to offer a replacement and he said we'll see. I was shocked those words came out of his mouth. I questioned what he said and he repeated it. I had to call back because my baked chicken was not thoroughly cooked. I called back and was put on hold.,so l called from another phone and he immediately answered. I told him that l wanted my money back and he sounded irritated and said make sure you bring your receipt...
I am trying to visit all the locations that are left, in reasonable distance, since it seems they may be closing more locations. I love Lubby's! I love the variety and veggie choices ,not to mention the desserts! I will miss them!!
Most of the Luby's have closed down during the pandemic, I found the one on OST and Fanin open. The food is same (good) but the service has been upgraded, the servers are wearing a new uniform and address the customers as sir and madam. The change is appreciated. Thank you ?.

This Lubys was very disappointing to say the least. I dont like the new fried fish crust and they left off my gravy and tartar. Who eats dry potatoes and dry fish? Well looks like I will have to use my Ranch but I ate the dry $&& taters ?Furthermore the one time I get a dessert it comes to me looking beat up! ?Smh Do Better Lubys!
No customers were wearing a mask. Had to ask for many things. Like a soup spoon. Had to get up to get one. It was dirty. The young lady then brought one it was too dirty. No smiles. Many had bad attitude. Will ever go again!
