YES THEY ARE STILL OPEN!!! This place a wife selection of food to eat. I especially love the children's plate option for my children. They each get a main course and two side or a veggie plate where you pick just three sides. Their meal also comes with a roll, kids drink and jello for one price. This helped so much with my picky eaters who one day like something and then don't like it the next. For the adult the portions side are huge. I have never left here feeling hungry. Yoy get two sides and a choice of rolls. The people behind the counter serving food have the patience of saints when dealing with my indecisive children.The place is very clean with several wait staff walking around to help whenever they are needed. They have helped move tables together when needed and carry trays when it's too much for me to handle on my own. They refill your drinks and are at your table to assist you with anything.You pay before you eat! This is a cafeteria style restuarant.
Love this Luby's. It reminds me when I used to bring my mother. Always fresh and always great service. I wish I could remember my waitress name. She did a great job. Thank you
I've been going to Luby's for years. This location has really stepped up its game. The food is classic Luby's but everyone from the servers to the cashier to the wait staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. My sister ordered an entree that took 10 minutes to arrive. The waitress offered to replace her veggies with hot ones. We were visiting & spent over an hour there. The waitress kept checking back with us until we left. It was first rate. And the food was good.
There was a lady on the food line we could not understand, plus she was trying to go so fast she kept mixing what each person wanted. The blackened tilapia was really dry and the green beans tasted straight out of a can. I've had the same dish at the MedCenter Luby's and it was amazing. Our waitress was great, though.
My husband and I love this place. When our grandchildren come into town from Ohio to visit, they always ask to go to Luby's. The servers are so friendly and know us by name.Yvonne is our favorite server.
The food was good. And we had a waitress by the name of Gloria she was excellent. Only thing that needs improving is the sweet tea every time we go the tea is never sweet.
Horrible. Everything, and I mean every single item from the main course Chicken fried steak to potatoes to Mac & Cheese to okra to the cornbread =COLD. Are the heat lamps at this location not working? Evidently not! Wont be back. Top it all off, credit card machine didn't work. Fail.
Went on Saint Patrick's Day had the corned beef cabbage and new potatoes with a jalapeno roll. It was delicious. The people working the dining area were great kept coming over to see if we needed anything and filling our drinks.
I had the chicken fried chicken with white gravy and it was pretty good. Quick service nice cafeteria meal and calm atmosphere, that's luby. Lubys always hits the spot I think. It's not the best but it is kind of affordable for the amount and quality of food. One of the better luby's.
Perfect place for a hot healthy meal. I usually enjoy the soups, turkey steak, roasted chicken, salads, or the baked white fish with an almond topping.
